You just lost the game. Now facepalm yourself for clicking this :P

Has anyone ever noticed that the one element that we have yet to discover in any way, shape, or form is Ununseptium. And has anyone noticed that the atomic number and Latin name for the element if 117 . Does anyone know if this has anything to do with Master Chief Spartan 117? I just made this discovery a few seconds ago and it is super exciting !

It doesn't have anything to do with him unfortunately.

Cpt. Cutter, for those who don't get the referance.

Ununseptium is also 117 in latin. Or at least I think it's latin. BUT, I believe that it is NOT one of the Halogens, which makes your theory irrevelant.

We believe that the universe is unbounded: this is not the same as infinite: the 2-D surface of a sphere, wrapped around a 3rd dimension, has a finite size, but has no end. If you start off in a given direction on the surface of a sphere, you could return to your start point without having to turn around -- you simply go all the way around. But wouldn't that mean the universe has an escape velocity like the earth?

Actually, on the Periodic Table, Element 117 is under Group 17, and therefore as of now a member of the Halogenic Family, like how 118, Ununoctium is a Predicted Noble Gas.

If I had a periodic table right now, I'd check; but I have heard of Uus being a Halogen.

Also, may I say; why would this involve the Master Chief in any way? Is Bungie really a secret government agency developing suits made of Uun (which, I think falls in the Non-Metal category [it's a gas], but still. Bear with me) and keeping it under wraps by developing a videogame with outstanding similarities to draw away suspicion?
????
-sigh-

It's pure coincidence that Element 117 falls in the Halogen category, as Spartan 117 falls into the Halo category.

It actually has been "discovered," and is currently believed to be a halogen. It is difficult to test these things when your sample lasts fractions of a second.

I like that.
