My newest story, Part 1 will come soon, But heres the prolouge.

It had been a disaster. One year after eradicating the flood, A UNSC ship had detected anomilies just outside of orbit from the Shell of Harvest. Nothing to serious, more like a flux or error. We were foolish.

A few days after the first reports, a large slipspace portal appeared. And out of it came thousands of forerunner ships. Now were fighting for our lives along with the elites, trying to abolish the forerunners. But theres another problem. They brought the flood back. And the forerunners want to fire the halos.

I dont care if it doesnt fit Cannon, Tell me what you think.

Music is slowly dying. Classic rock, rock, and metal is real music. Non of this bull-blam!- pop and rap with there auto tuned voices. No talent. And Im not talking about stupid ass New Metal bands like Drowning Pool, Disturbed, and Godsmack. Im talking about Children of Bodom, Slayer, Exodus, and Megadeth. Also, what happened to awesome rock bands like AC/DC? The best band ever. Why can't rock bands now have that kind of talent like the older rock bands? Music is slowly dying.

Seems interesting. Keep me updated on ths and I will gladly read it.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

That's not a prologue, that's a few paragraphs with no depth or real story explanation. It has just handed us the entire story on a plate, no interesting revelations can follow because you've just revealed it all.

It's more like a blurb...

Well, yeah, but I've looked at his other work and whilst I wasn't interested in the story too much his writing was pretty good, so I imagine that if he couples it with an interesting, non-generic story he could write a pretty cool fan fiction.

Try post the first chapter soon, mate.

Chapter 1: Opening
Standing on the helm of the UNSC Spirit of Ice, Captain Julian Thrash sighed. It had been several long, uneventful days since the last eventful news on this shell of Harvest had arrived. Even though he should have felt honoured to be spear-heading the attempt of restoring Harvest, he began to feel as though the UNSC had no need for him. Probably why they sent me to this backwater place, He thought grimly. Shaking his head, he asked his A.I Camryn how the teams on the few isolated stretches of land were doing. "Shield network sustaining. Atmosphere stable. Strike teams have already started planting the first few trees and crops on the planet. Is there anything else you wanted Captain?" "No, that's good Camryn, keep up the good work". Sighing, he glanced out of the thick glass screen covering the bridge. "Captain, there's something wrong. I'm picking up a slip space trans-"Camryn suddenly went offline. The ship soon followed. Staring out of his dark helm, he watched as a massive tear in space opened up. His crew had a quick death.

Reach, Restored sector 9, 2553.
"So you say you lost communications? Interesting." The voice belonged to the newly appointed Admiral Jenkins, son of Private Jenkins. His actions during the flood outbreak in Africa, and the resulting Ark battle, made even Lord Hood look up to him with envy. "Send in a probe, its best if we keep this quiet. I'm not sure how the civilians would react to the news of a sudden ship disappearing. There already afflicted too much." " Ready my ship to, Captain. I think it's time we saw this out." "Aye sir"

Harvest, 900 hours, 2553
"Sir, were getting visuals of the wreckage now" On the many computers around him, he saw the same scene over and over again. The wreckage of a ship, floating in orbit. But there was something odd about this... "Where are the corpses? Shouldn't there be floating bodies, frozen in space?" "I'm not sure admiral, Hold on... Oh God" On the screen was one of the ships Truth had had, a "Dreadnought" as the covenant called it.

Adding to this, just need the word out. This is not the end of chapter 1.
