I have been doing some reading on the inspirations behind the Halo series and look what I found:

Bungie owes James Cameron a big thank you.

Do you think Halo would exist if Aliens never existed?

"A life lived for others is the only life worth living" - Albert Einstein

"I have your RCON right here." - Iggwilv

"Always my pleasure to be lazy." - InvasionImminent

Hmmm... Makes me want to watch this movie over again.

Also, James Cameron returned the favor by taking inspiration from the Hornets on Halo 3 for Avatar

But how do you know it wasn't the other way around?

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Larry Niven's Ringworld was a greater inspiration for Halo than Aliens.

Junior Dos Santos, know the name, he's the future.

BLACK POWER!

That's 115% BS, Bungie owuld never copy another movie, game, person etc. They are the most original and best game developers to ever exist.

Brother's account. My main is Guillotineee

Actually a long time ago I got hammered with some friends and started talking about like what if these old alien dudes build this ring thingie to blow up zombie making weirdo other aliens and later on this this super dude with a hot computer chick in his head graped the zombie aliens and got blue balled by the computer chick.

My idea was clearly stolen.
