Well, VII Toast lives not to far from where I live. I live in Louisiville, Kentucky; he lives in Greenville, Kentucky. Would it help if I got to know him or something?

The small town of Greensburg. Not Greenville.

Holy small town Toast!

There is a reason I am user ID 1 and my account creation date is before this site came online.

It might explain why he has the time to moderate.

Ok, I know for a fact that goweb is currently in America. I don't know why, and I don't know when he's going back to the UK (which is where he actually) but I'm completely positive that he is in the US. He is the only mod from Europe, sarge.

Considering that all the mods (besides TGP) are in the US, they certainly do a good job of keeping the forums clean. Bravo!

I'm here as part of my degree. I'll be back in the UK sometime in May (quite possible before my visa expires).

"Whatever exists, whatever in creation exists without my knowledge exists without my consent. These anonymous creatures may seem little or nothing in the world. Yet the smallest crumb can devour us. Any smallest thing beneath yon rock out of men's knowing. Only nature can enslave man and only when the existence of each last entity is routed out and made to stand naked before him will he be properly suzerain of the earth."

*Cough* I hate to break you guys from your discussion, but I now have a new question.

In Zanzibar the Forum Cops are not exactly met with big parades. In fact, let us say that there has been a particular member who has created two accounts for the purpose of impersonating real Forum Cops. Normally we are able to ignore members who detest being corrected, but this is a step too far. These people have not only been going around trying to act as though they are real Forum Cops, but they are going off-topic in threads in the hope that they can prove a point.

So, my question is, would making an account for the purpose of imitating a normal member be a violation of the rules, or do they actually have to break a listed rule?

Well making two accounts is against the rules as well...

Any one can be a Forum Cop, you just have to know what your doing. Impersonating another member is against the rules, so he should see justice for that.

Making an account for the purpose of impersonating anyone on the forums is against the Rules and the Code of Conduct. If you find someone who is doing just that, whether it be a regular user or a Bungie.net Staff member, you should contact a Moderator so that the account can be taken care of.

I'm on MSN if I'm awake, and if I'm not moderating I'm normally programming, so it's no problem to take reports if you guys have them. My MSN address is public (see my profile), but here it is agian for you lazy people:

No it's not. Just highly frowned upon. The mods will assume you're up to something, and I'm positive that is not a good thing. This is why I have only 1 account.

I know this isn't very pertinent, but when you are a moderator, are you usually threatened in PMs or emails? If so, what do you do to that person? Blacklist, ban?

Also, when is that FAQ for moderator role? I was just wondering.

You name it, people will threaten you with whatever they can… why? Because they cry when they’re stupid enough to get banned from a website.

Yoozel, it just makes him more cool and attractive then you :). Hahaha, it really helps when you are reporting a thread too. You should also give out your messengers! It will help the community more then it'll hurt.

I find the HFCS member list to be useful. When clicking on the individual users you will notice the "Last Login" date.

Hah, that’s pretty nifty guide, but a little off. I've been toying with the idea of seeing if the guys would make Moderator profiles or something... who knows.

For the record, the Mob of Angry Peasants predates bungie.net and is still one of the first existing and still an active chapters of Bungie.net.

Reiginko and Goweb are not Master Ninjas (nor is chris).

And I every time I went to my favorite pizza shop (closed now) they had a sign up that said; “Hey loafers, we now have an Atari. Feel free to regress…” and I always through of Jim.

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

Just a quick question on the topic of the double accounts thing:
Is it alright that I have two accounts since I have one for each of my gamertags?
I use each of them for a different tag to check the stats, but I never post on the one.

I'm sure that's fine, as long as it's the only thing you use it for.
