Marine: "Got a new contact. Unknown Classification!"
Lord Hood: "If it isn't one of ours, take it out."
MC: "This is bus 117, can anyone hear me? Over."
Lord Hood: "Isolate that signal. Master Chief, you mind telling me you're doing at that school?"
MC: "Sir... picking up these kids."
I'm on the fence. Noble Team is no necessarily restricted to stealth team formula, but it is implied when they mention that nobody knows about Noble Team. I mean, I think if anything we confuse the fact that the UNSC doesn't widely acknowledge them, for being a stealth team.
Either way stealth in a Halo game hasn't worked since Halo CE. They took out that neat way of playing in favor of the "One person died a mile away! I can SENSE IT!" (Yes, I know the Covenant are advanced and are probably marked for each other to see when they are killed, but that doesn't mean they know YOUR location as you kill them.)
Reach's Gameplay is as much Stealth as Sonic the Hedgehog is Metal Gear. So they don't need stealthy colors per say.
The colors should have been changed though... as with the canon destroyers in Reach, but that's not what this is about. On the front cover of the old Fall of Reach book they have several Spartans in different shades of Green, even one in what looks like a brown.
Jorge should have been identified by being big, Olive colored, and with his Shoulder shields.
Emile was fine I SUPPOSE.
Kat should have been a light green and her female figure would give her away. Also, let's just make her slightly shorter.
Carter should have been slightly taller than Kat, about the same size as Emile. Fine Green armor with black accents.
Jun is fine, but maybe make him a darker green... nah I suppose it was dark enough... or make him brown/green.
Basically acceptable colors appear to be:
Black
Grey
Various shades of green
Various shades of brown
And I'm fine with that. Their size, bulk, weapons, helmets, call tags, should have made them identifiable, and if Bungie wanted us to care about their deaths they would have developed their character more, and they only did with Jorge, so I'm going to assume they either:
Did not necessarily intend to make the characters relationship important.
Or they just failed.
