I've been a member since 2005, and I've been playing Halo since the day it came out (not so much lately). However, there's still a couple things that confuse me:
I still cannot figure wether the graphics are good or bad. I mean, other than reach, there is no other game that has that simplistic view with those super detailed textures. It still confuses me.
I still cannot figure out what is it that makes Halo 3 so much more competitive than other games. I mean, all other games have callouts and encourage communication within the team too, but no game feels as tactical as Halo.
I still cannot figure why the game feels so naturally solid. I know it's not because of the static reticle, but do you know that feeling of fluidity when you get a swipe kill with the sniper?
I actually started to suspect that Bungie was, in fact, planning to take over the world, simply because this game feels so different to all others. I'm still confused by how responsive yet human the game is. I don't know what to think really.
