Hey! I wrote that "Wall of text", well, re-wrote it anyway. The truth is, and the owner of this thread won't mind me saying, it was worse off this time a week ago, the OP was written with less time than wanted and didn't look too good. Now it has quotes and looks nicer, also, a few picture links.

ive seen a 3-d version of the map you are talking about, and it seems very possible. it was in a popular forum post, but ive never seen it again

Whats your next step after 750 votes, and 750 Replies?

1000 mark, baby.
after that point, bungie will start noticeing, because that number represents such a large amount of the community.

Unfortunately, thats not true, 1000 votes will represent about 1/800 of the people who play but in the end, considering the votes being in major vavour os yes, I'd say it's fair to assume that if spread more, the votes will stay similar. The main problem you get is that for some things a business will say:

Posted by: A random business
Well we have had this ...
so by using this we predict this ...

But then we get the likes of this. Bungie has stated that despite a lot of votes against Armour Lock, the figures are very little compared to the playing community. The truth is, when they want something they will predict that an outcome will happen due to what has already happened, when we want something, it's different.

the tough thing about this is that, the majoritty of people who play reach actually DONT Have a bungie.net account, so you can only draw a conclusion to a certain point.

that being said, casuals will pretty much buy anything with a big title name, like halo or COD, regardless of if they like it.

and still, c'mon, a 40-700 vote DOES say something, regardless if others still havent voted.

To be honest, even though the idea is good, I think that coming up with knew and fresh ideas is the best route for Bungie.

Online Gaming's pretty much like a zombie movie. There are a lot of mindless idiots roaming around but you find some survivors on the way.

I know i've had a hell of a lot more fun on Sandtrap than most of the "new" maps Bungie has made for Reach. Hemorrage is fun but is not "new", Pinnacle is fun but not "new". There are some good new maps but Reach's new maps are not as good as some old maps.

Sandtrap without Elephants isn't Sandtrap so they have to be there.

quite honestly i think the community maps are better than most of bungies maps in reach... all except sword base which happens to be my utmost favorite map. and it is quite original with its unique design...

Hence why we want them back.

*Blah blah blah....REACH*

Sounds great. I enjoy a game of invasion here and there, but with only 2 maps it gets boring fast..

Meh, I like Coundown aswell, basic playing space and it's one of the only maps I enjoy slayer on (No longer a slayer fan, Objective FTW!)
