my guess is thre are too many notes at the beginning, so it can be confusing as to when the actual thread begins (sandtrap idea)


thats what i think discouraged him. its not really something we can help, because we need everyone to see our notes before they read it, so it just sucks for him i guess...

discourageing bumping will discourage this threads survival, but too much bumping i agree with you, is un-necessary.

anyways, air vehicles would not be particularly key players on this map. unless the spartan laser is added into the multiplayer for online, the only possible air vehicle would be the falcon. since it is so open, the banshee would have a million sitting ducks as targets, and no competition.


there really isnt much point for them anyways, since the map is so ground-focused. unless of course, you had to climb one of the towers to get to the core/extract it. that would bring in certain aspects of gameplay simular to "the spire" and air vehicles would suddenly become a balanced necessity. otherwise, i see no need for them, they would only create possible problems for gameplay, and not do much to improve the map.

thanks for the feedback though, it is always appreciated!

Ehh, the Banshee needs to be there. It was in the original, and it really added awesomeness to the gameplay. the epic moments where you heard the banshee and ran to cover, or the Missile Pod, or to a Warthog turret...The Banshee needs to be there.

True, the FRG is OP in Reach, but I feel that Sandtrap gave enough cover to balance that.

They should definetly remake it...my buddies and I where just tslking about it the other day along about how they should remake SandBox as a new Forge World it would be amazing!!

the thing about sandbox is that everything usefull about it in halo 3 is now forgeable in reach:

skyboxes are easily recreated with safe zones, and we even get the grid to work with if we want. as for the crypt for grifball, also easily re-makable.


but all being said, sandbox was exceptionally enjoyable for warthog rides out in the desert when the guardians were disables, so if bungie did do a sandbox/trap themed forgeworld (assuming my idea is put in also) i would definitely want some wide open deserts to play around with.
