Other : to learn

I live in a small hick town, where nobody knows what a computer is used for.
I come here most mornings after work to unwind, read, and laugh.
Nothing to do, no friends, and just getting older and less cool by the second.
This place is full of underlieing humor that is very close to my sense of humor.
Sarcasm and such...
I love the whole Egg hunt type stuff, and get quiet crazy about why that is there, or this is on that. All leading me nowhere but Back For More.
I'm not the best Verses player, to slow... but to learn more about what people can do with Campaign on this game is amazingly fun. I spend more time reading than playing.
Besides fanasty football, I really don't have anywhere else to go online.
In one short year I have learned quite a bit from all of you, and mostly have been treated very warmly buy the community.
Even when my new -ace- ness , could and should get me flamed or kicked out of here.
Goodness knows my spelling and grammer is a very low level.
--and the game is first class-- Why can't you jump and free rome in any other games ?
Don't other game co. get it ?
I do things either All or Nothing and I think if the community will have me.
I shall be here for a very, very long time.

To be honest, typing "Bungie.net" into the address bar is pure reflex now. I don't really have to think about it. Sometimes I even type it in with the intention of going elsewhere.

Shai, I suffer from the exact same problem. The similarities between the two of us continue to amaze me.

Other than that, honestly when I strip it down to the bare reason that I stay, I feel that I stay for the entertainment. B.net keeps my mind from other things. Saying that I enjoy "helping the community out of selfless love" would be a lie (and would no doubt be a lie coming from almost any human being that visits this site), I stay for my own own enjoymentent. B.net is here to amuse me.

I might have said the community a year ago, but not now with so many idiots posting pointless repetetive crap, etc etc.

Probably because I have nothing better to do, and the fact that my dad has been a Bungie fan since Marathon originally came out.

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

I'm here for the community mostly.
I love hanging out in The Maw and helping people with their PCs, and the flood is fun for random stuff.
I have pretty much stopped posting in Zanzibar and Optimatch, unless it is something that really interests me, or unless it is because someone is making an incredibly stupid statement.

With B.B. gone, the passion of Bungie.net has lessened.

The Frozen Minority - The most infamous clan borne from the Seventh Column.

I had my internet access stripped at school after one too many times typing Bungie.net subconsciously.

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

I used to have that problem, but I found the cure. I made bungie.net my homepage. I've never typed b.net automatically again

The Frontline - A group dedicated to help improve the forums as a whole.

Well, I normally only come on to check my and my friend's stats. However, then I see that beautifully crafted "Forums" button, and I'm lead to press it. So I do, and then I read some interesting thread, decide to post, etc etc.

Its like some sort of mind bending device.
