Per Audacia Ad Astra

I doubt it, The Pelican wouldn't of had time to get out of the ship even if the thrusters worked. Now he could of survived after going splitspace to a random part of the universe. But then he would of died of starvation and dehydration.

"The measure of a man is what he does with power"-Plato

New Halo title by 343. John has landed on an unknown planet and later notices a Corvette, he goes to investigate. Only to find Jorge who some how survived.

So they kick ass together.

We will know soon enough, but it will require thought. Deep thought. Mendicant Bias must be found. The Mantle will soon follow.

they may go into slip space, but they have no way to come out. without a slipspace drive they can not transition back to regular space.

So, the possibilites in the order they are most likely to happen:

1. Jorge is killed outright by an unshielded slipspace drive.
2. Jorge is transported with an intact ship full of alien resources and hostiles to a random point in space/slipspace. He either kicks ass and eventually starves, or he dies fighting.
3. He is lucky enough to be near a planet with the resources he needs.

Actually, two would be more of "Jorge is transported with what's left of the inverted ship to a random point."

Having the hanger go into the portal before the rest of the ship wouldn't come out intact. <_<.

No, no, no.

Well...not unless it's a made-for-TV syfy special, and Chuck Norris plays Jorge.

Standard rule of film etc: If they 'die' off screen, they're not dead.

The pelican has no thrusters.
Spartans have 90 minutes of air.
They can't reach the Sabers.

Even if he did survive the slipspace jump[highly unlikely], he would die pretty quickly.

They couldn't reach the Sabers before the slipspace jump. 90 minutes of air would be more than enough to reach the sabers by going around the outside. However, as you said, it is unlikely that he survived the jump. But if he did, I think they'd be fine... provided there was a planet close enough for them to get to... doubtful.

but good point OP.

However, the Hanger bay entered the portal before the rest of the Corvette. Meaning if it came out intact, it wouldn't look anything like the Corvette.
