Soooo, just because you can't do something you can already with the game you own, you won't buy the game that has what you can't do? Just sounds like nostalgia to me.
Lol what?
Are you saying it's nostalgia that i won't buy Halo 2 vista because i dosen't have online coop?
Im not really following you.I'm saying that it's nostalgia saying that you'd rather play the Xbox version because of the fact it offers Co-Op. You could play Co-Op whenever you felt like it on the Xbox then whenever you felt like playing some multiplayer hop onto Halo 2 Vista. I'm assuming you already have the Xbox version.
I prefer the Xbox version, because it's easiere. No game installation required, no need to think about hardware and configuration. I like not having to figure out how to make the game run smooth, what should be enable and what should not.
Xbox is plug and play and thats why i like it. And to be honest the pc version looks too sharp, if you know what i mean? Im not sure how to describe it.
Anyways, i could just as well hook up my old xbox to xbc/xlink and then i would be able to play Halo 2 just like Vista.
So the vista version of Halo 2 dosen't really offer anything i don't have. If it had online coop play it would be interesting.
But even if it had, i would require a copy of vista and cables to hook up my mac to my 50" tv, and consider problems that may occur during setup. I don't feel like having cables messing up my room either :P
And btw. i actually own Halo 2 vista, and i got the 1000gp in it. I put time into both multiplayer and campaign, but without friends to play it with, matchmaking and some sort of ranking, it's not fun to play.
Halo have always been a social game, it's not meant to be played alone.
And again, thats why i really want a remake of some sort.
A simple way of beeing able to play Halo 2 again, and replay the campaign in coop.
Couch coop is not enough today, we need online coop :)
