Its not Judo its Sanghelijutsu! Then can kick backwards then twist the kick sideways and then jump over you and stab you with a mini sword. They're trained ninjas!

In the books, it says Sangheili are the physical-equals of Spartan-II's. In the games, not the same view; if you catch my drift.

So what would happen if an Elite punched a Marine according to Canon?

Halo Wars cutscene where Forge gets into a fight with Ripa.

Just another reason why a lot of us don't count Halo Wars as a true reflection of the Halo universe. A game where Elites suddenly think that long charges with spears can beat machine guns and shotguns.

Imagine if Halo Wars were canon, that would probably change the whole events of the other Halo games. The Elites would never have joined the Humans and the Grunts would probabaly rule the galaxy because they won't overestimate themselves.

There much stronger then humans, But alot of people over rate there strength.

A spartan could mow down a elite without to much trouble. I hate it when people compare them to spartans.

They deffinatly are not impossible for humans to kill, I'd take a big ODST any day of the week over a elite minor.

As for brutes that a whole diffrent story haha.

Evidence please.

An Elite commando ripped the arm off from a spartan III in Halo evolutions.

instead of kicking, they should always bring a fuzzy electric sword. it launches people off cliffs and instantly kills them. Plus is makes them fly right to the target in only one trigger press.I dont even know what im talking about sometimes X3.

Elite's are as strong as a Spartan in MJOLNIR armor (which increases the user's strength)

They come from a high-gravity planet, meaning anywhere else, they appear much stronger.

So, no, a Spartan can not easily mow down an Elite. Minors or unskilled ones? Maybe. but that has nothing to do with strength.

Soon to be breaking news:

US Coast Guard prepares for massive rescue mission after Iranian fleet sinks off shore. Reports say a small thunderstorm caused most of the ships to simply...fall apart.

Halo Wars is already canon.

Uh... no. Elites are just as strong as Spartans in the games. All they have is more shields and health on higher difficulties.

You know the only reason a S-II can kill a elite is because of skill.

The thing that really makes spartan IIs great is your raiseing the 'perfect' human kids to be the best they can and then throwing some nice adds in there... And the fact that humans have been going to war since we first poped onto earth helps alot XD

Probably go flying 15 feet away, with their damn long range Judo kicks.

Indeed, and Sierra, I'm not seeing where you are coming from, or wanting to go with that statement <_<.

Yes, in the games perhaps. in reality? They are as strong as a spartan in MJOLNIR.

On of those lovely things called 'balancing' that shouldn't be counted on as Canon. Easy way to do it, don't count gameplay as canon for the most part. Besides, I heard heroic was the 'canon' difficulty, and I'm pretty sure the Elites can kill you damn quick with melee.

Spartans can survive being smashed in the chest by a hunters shield and can survive a high altitude drop from a pelican. I would take gameplay with a grain of salt in all respects.

Don't forget the "fact" that while Spartans can fall from space, they can't take a 10 metre drop.

Well, the punch from Ripa didn't seem to hurt Forge that much.

if you look closely, that was probably a light punch..plus i'm sure that Forge broke some ribs from that. Ripa din't want to kill Forge by just bunching him, he wanted to make him suffer for his "heresy". That's probably why forge didn't die.

Real mature. But I can't complain; its Bungie.net

I'm being serious. Have you played Reach? They Judo kick you, if you were a Human without armor that weights more than a ton, you would go flying 15 feet for sure.
He's right, an elite kick is stronger than the shotgun on legendary.

elites dont seem to be designed for punching, look at their hands. their more the kicking type.
also in one of the books an elite stomps through
someones torso.

What? And I suppose Halo: Legends is as well?

"Halo! Its divine wind will rush through the stars, propelling all who are worthy along the path to salvation."

Major Domos are the physical equivalent of a SPARTAN II super soldier. Ultras and Zealots are beyond a SPARTAN II's strength level.

Halo: Wars wasn't even directly made by Bungie. Non-Canon.
It is Canon, lol. It hasn't ruin the continuity of the series.

As far as I'm concerned the punch would easily qualify for lethal.

Where did the title "Domo" come from when referring to Sangheili? I've seen it elsewhere but I don't remember it from any of the books or games (although it might be in Cole Protocol, which I've only read twice).
