Elites, with or without their armor are nowhere near the strength of a SPARTAN-II in MJOLNIR.
No. Wrong.
From The Fall of Reach
The Elite recovered quickly and aimed at the Master Chief. The Master Chief jumped, grabbed its wrist. He locked his armor's glove articulation--it became a vice clamp.
They wrestled for control. The gun pointed at the alien, then the Master Chief.
The alien was as strong as the Master Chief.
They spun and bounced off the floor, ceiling, and walls. They were too evenly matched.
Page 315 buddy. This is with Chief in full MJOLNIR Mk.V armor.
Hold your horses there.
In CQB, it doesn't matter so much if one has greater strength than other, it's how you use it.
You can't gather needed potential/kinetic energy in situations such as close quarters battle, because you can't move your arms to gain speed.
Try hitting a boxing bag from close distance (1' or 30cm) and then compare it to hitting it from starting distance of at least 75cm, then go further. See how the strength of your hit increases along the speed of your fist... E(k)=1/2*m*v^2
It's stated that the armor amplifies ones strength, yes, but it cannot amplify to needed potential if it doesn't have that strength in the first place.
SPARTAN-II in MJOLNIR armor usually have the space to gather needed potential/movement energy to move such great masses. That's why they can move such enormous masses, and Elites can't. (Gameplay, remeber it's there to balance gameplay.)
I believe that Elites have greater strength compared to SPARTAN-II without MJOLNIR, but they are nowhere near the strength of a SPARTAN-II in MJOLNIR.
MJOLNIR DOESN'T USE ELECTRIC MOTORS, THIS HERE IS IRRELEVANT BUT I'M LEAVING IT HERE FOR GENERAL INFORMATION.
But you need to understand that electric motors don't have that torque when they start to move, it's when they gain the needed speed and spin fast. And that's a fact.
