I'm not so sure their next game isn't an MMO. Urk's not so subtle reply to the MMO rumors in the Weekly Update make me think he's trying to cover it up. I'm going to assume Bungie's next game is an MMO until I hear otherwise.

Well yeah, but he also 'didn't say it wasn't anything else either'... At this point it's just as likely to be any other genre as it is an MMO. Doesn't matter what makes 'sense' or what rumors we've heard. It's completely up for grabs at this point.

yep, pretty much exactly what i wrote in my edited op, i just dont think bungie would be making a strategy rts as their first new IP from the halo franchise, i could be wrong, but i think they are going to stay relatively close to shooter, and id just imagine some sort of bigger open world environment that an MMO has, it would be a good place for Bungie to expand in, but ur rite, we'll just have tp wait and see

I'll have the roast duck . . . with the mango salsa.

I'm still going with some RPG-light, Action game that we can play with plenty of people online.

Like ME2 but multi-player style.

I agree, this seems like something they might shoot for. I certainly wouldn't mind a Chromhounds-like Neromius war mode.

I want them to do something similar to EVE Online

That'd be so awesome, knowing Bungie, they'd let you build an entirely unique ship

Same, besides; I don't think Bungie fans would like an MMO (I wouldn't).

Subject: Bungie: Aerospace and it's relation to Project Destiny

READ IT.

I won the Star. With this on Week 18.

My theory...

Aerospace, just from that t-shirt with the rocket, makes me think it will be a mix of the 50s + Back to the Future II (And all other 80s movies that thought that 2010-2020 would be the time of intergalactic travel) + the discovery of some kind of godly artifact on Mars... or something.

Aerospace is not a game, it is a company.

Therefore you are wrong.

Destiny is the game.

Subject: Bungie: Aerospace/Dest. - Speculation [News Confirmed]

Guardians Of the Phoenix Vice President xXxGarrett91xXx AKA Garrett Heckert

Well, I haven't really been speculating on this for a while(only recently), but I think from what I've seen here on Bungie.net and other searched websites on this topic is that Bungie Aerospace is a new hub for small game companies that are starting out like Bungie did before Microsoft bought them out, to join forces with Bungie to help get their games out there, starting with some iPad games. Now onto Project Tiger(as called in ViDoc "O Brave New World"), which is actually a new Bungie MMOFPS game titled Destiny, which will be a sci-fi futuristic space video game that has its own universe and planets to travel to with different races of beings living on those worlds and the ability to basically choose a races, create your character, complete quests, level up, buy new clothes, armor, weapons, ect. Basically as it was put, WoW in Space! I just hope they don't charge you to keep the servers up, but still, a Bungie-Activison-Blizzard video game? COOLZ!!!

Good read. Cannot wait to see what it truly has to offer

I would trust GameInformer way before I believe the speculation engine that is IGN...

Too many unverified "sources" and suspect content on IGN for my tastes.
