i don't know about you but when it comes to those tiny little joysticks on the xbox they just dont match up to the speed and accuracy of a keyboard mouse combo. i play halo on the pc and xbox and i am personaly infinitly better on the pc because it is much easier to aim and shoot accuretly. if halo 2 could have a way to connect a keyboard and mouse to it and use that as the game controle i think many people would be extreamly happy.

what do you think should we be forced to use the xbox controler or could we use keyboard/mouse. if everyone used the keyboard/mouse the amount of commpetion online would be huge but for the people with the controler would it be unfair?

That is because you usually play FPSs on the computer. Those of us who normally place FPSs on the Xbox are used to and do better with the Xbox controller. I don't think they will make one, but it wouldn't hurt for those of you who are PC gamers.

Personally, I like the controller. I mean half of the keys on the keyboard wouldnt be used anyways, unless they had chat on xbox live, but they have a headset. For people like you who like the keyboard they could make one.. it wouldnt be very practical..

I don't think they are making one for PC, unless you wanna wait like 4 years..

It's not unfair to controller users because though you get increased aiming accuracy, you lose the ability to walk. You also have decreaesed movement to only have digital input.

You lose the ability to walk with a keyboard.

For Halo to walk you push the analog stick a little forward to run you press it all the way forward. On the keyboard all you have is forward, it's either all the way on or off, digital input.

hub he has a point playing on the pc with a keyboard you can not regulate your speed you have 4 choices forward, w, left, a, right, d, back, s, if you press w down hard your still only going to walk at the same speed but on the xbox controler you can move the joystick forward little amounts and walk slow. i think that is what he means. :)

but with halo 2 there is supposed to be a way to lower your gun and run top speed that may make some difference

If your talking about the xbox using a keyboard and mouse I think that would be -blam!-. With a mouse you just point in shoot not much skill needed. With a controller you have to master the movements of each joystick thing. If its on pc it makes sense though. I would have the run like americas army you double tap the foward key and he lowers gun and starts running. Then you tap it once again and his gun comes up or just shoot.

I think you just need practice with the controller, I mean it has that cheap auto target thing.

that auto targeting gets annoying when you try and use the plasma pistol because it will not let you lead the enemie
