Some bungie employee spilled the beans on their next project. Its an FPS MMO called Destiny and it has a codename called "tiger" for some reason. Its been dubbed "world of warcraft in space" heres a link

ill beleive it when bungie actually anounces on their web site.

Fair enough but there is some solid evidence in the link.

It really hasn't been confirmed. Kotaku posted a story that Bungie fired 30 contractors and that Destniy was there next game. Bungie has said that the firing rumor is false. They haven't commented on the rumor about the game, but there's no reason for them to.

There were no Bungie employees/contractors fired, the guy's story of him being a contractor is false. Therefore, the anonymous person's story has absolutely no credibility.

I don't believe anything until Bungie says it.

WoW in space doesn't have to mean it is an MMO.

Anyway, if I'm not mistaken didn't that article mention "It is rumored?" or something concerning the game? I'll have to check later.

well, they did say that activision-blizzard are the publishers of the game they're making so it probably is an MMO, the real question is if it's and RPG or a FPS

I <3 you too Bungie

Not saying I believe this, but even the mention of subscription fees make me mad.

WEE MAN, what exactly does "officially confirmed" mean to you?

... What else could it mean? Blood Elves in Space suits?

Honestly, from what they said of the contract, I don't see it being an MMO.

10 years, that's a long time sure, but I don't see Bungie doing an MMO simply because those span a long time.

I don't know, but it doesn't auto = MMO!

Besides, most people today decide stuff warcraft related as "WoW" TBH.

I'm sorry but I think you're completely wrong. Referring to something being like World of Warcraft in space would have to mean some sort of futuristic space MMO. World of Warcraft is known for being an MMO. The only other thing it's known for is the fantasy type Medieval setting which the "in space" part immediately eliminates. The only thing that Warcraft/World of Warcraft have in common is the world they're in, which, like I said before, is eliminated by the "in space" part. The only thing he could possibly be referring to is a MMO. Also, Joe Staten referring to it as a place that's always there for you is either a world like the Elder Scrolls or an MMO.

I don't consider it sold evidence since kotaku also posted that 30 or so contractors had been fired which turned out to be false.

Online ID: GriffGraff15

It's false (and Joe Staten said that their next game will have an online persistent world...aka MMO)

Bungie said that they haven't fired anyone, so there is no "Tiger".

There's a reason sometimes developers don't comment on rumors.

Wait... you say it's officially confirmed, yet it was a leak... by someone who was most likely lying...

Very official news you have there.
