Dude... did you know that your reading my sig?

My comlputer crashed awhile ago so I installed my Halo game again and it says I need a CD key. Problem is I lost my case so I need a CD key to play this and can someone give me one?

Er...we can't really discuss this on the forums. There are ways, of course, but we can't talk about them.

Not sure if I should mention this, but one of the methods is to use a reverse key-gen. It requires an already-installed game, though. If you uninstalled it, you can't take this approach.

When you first installed Halo, you entered your product key into the program, and it gave you a product ID based upon the key. Anyways, what a reverse keygen supposedly (I don't know for certain myself) does is take your product ID, the one given to you by the computer, and reverse keygen it to come up with the product key you entered into it.

Your best and certainly legal option is to contact Microsoft with proof of your original purchase and hope they reimburse you with a new disc. Some people have been able to get a new copy of the game, others have been lost in M$'s endless lines of corporate bull5h1t.

And don't ask for a product key on THIS forum. You won't get one.
