i still want to know how carter got hit when flying the pelican, like one sec, hes fine, were all in an armored pelican, next thing ino he turns around and has like bullet holes in him

???

There was a period of time between Pelican launch and start of PoA level.

Obvious fail in paying attention to the game and time stamps.

heres the video of carters death, but still, sure time passed but how did he get shot? hes in the pelican, armored most likely, i can undertstand it like, 'oh some banshee just shot him thru the window' but it just isnt that clear, isnt he armored? why wouldnt of 6 got the same damage?

On my part or his?

If his, here's an additional tidbit.

The package takes place the 29th, the ending (them coming toward the Pelicans.) is in the morning.

PoA starts at August 30, 2552 16:52 Hours.

Not yours, you obviously have this know this.

The cutscenes show that there is alot of time between missions. Look at ONI Swordbase and Nightfall... There are usually whole days or half a day between missions.

Noble 6 and Emile could move around the back and dodge the incoming plasma, while Carter couldint, the only thing he could do was try and keep the thing in the air, even if that cost him his life. Carter was lucky he even lasted that long.

I blame the faulty hatch on the Pelican for Carter's death... damn ONI and their machinations!

I blame noble six for Kat, carter, jun, and Emile's death.
Why if he had died then noble team would have been sent off planet since Halsey wanted 6 to deliver cortana.

if one spartan died, they would abandon one of their most important missions? sure, Halsey wanted six to deliver Cortana, but one of the others could have done it.

and did six have anything to do with the jackal snipers with needle rifles, the detonator breaking on the slipspace bomb, what ever hit carter, the elite behind emile, or what ever happened to jun after he left with Halsey?

when the scarab came to attack 6, and 4,SPARTAN-B312 tried to hide behind the rocks while Emile just stood there looking at it causeing Carter to sacrifice himself.

who knows carter might of made it to the autumn and landed his pelican safly and get medicle support on the autumn.

another thing emile got stabbed in the back by an elite...EMILE ITS CLLED A MOTION TRACKER GET ONE.

A: Scarab had already spotted them. They couldn't advance without becoming toast.
B: The Elite wasn't running, he didn't show up on the motion tracker.

The Elites were dropped right on top of him from a Phantom.

It's not like Carter accidentally flew into the Scarab because Emile didn't distract it.

Also, Carter didn't have Cortana, so sacrificing Noble 6 and Emile in order to reach the PoA for medical treatment would be a terrible idea (and would have resulted in the Humans losing the war).

Teamwork is essential, it gives the enemy ther people to shoot at

I blame Jun. While it was important to protect Halsey, they could've left that crap for the Marines. I mean, they entrusted Cortana with the Marines. If Jun was there, he could've covered Emile at the MAC cannon, then they could've joined the Chief, ending with Jun sacrificing himself to blow the Autumn, Emile stabbing Tartar Sauce with his Kukri to distract him long enough, then getting hammered as e blasted 2 shotgun blasts in his face, and then 6 jumps in front of Johnson, saving Johnson but dieing, and Johnson and the Chief go off, but before they make it Johnson gets off the hog to hold off the flood and buy Chief some time.

Why do you blame Emile?

I blame Carter for Carter's death.

Why?

Simple: At the start of the mission "Pillar of Autumn" Carter claimed "this is a ground op now" because his Pelican was falling apart.

After Noble Six and Emile run several kilometers and endure annoying fights, Carter is still flying the same Pelican. Had everyone just stayed in the Pelican, we could have zipped right to Keyes, and everyone would have lived.

To be frank; I blame Carter for his own death, Emile's death, and that snot, Noble 6's, death.

Well if Noble 6 died or was not transfered to noble team then reach would have been toast before the pillar of autumn could leave.

because the long night of solace would have glassed the majority of the planet because operation: UPPERCUT wouldnt have happened.

Plus if the chosen courier of an extremely important object dies or is unavailable do you just forget about it and let it be destoroyed or do you choose someone else to deliver the package.

Yep... Cause they had a handy squad of army troopers or marines right there at Sword Base when they were leaving.

Emile couldn't help it. He's too dude to hide behind a rock.

Another fun thing, everybody complains about that scene for 'losing an epic scarab fight'. Yet how would they get up to the scarab, or have enough firepower to disable it?

its possible on halo 3
Yea, due to the perfect setup with two cranes and two missile pods with 10 marines wielding rocket launchers riding around on mongooses.

NO! You are WRONG!!!

And, sure, six got to carry the Cortana-fragment, but wasnt he supposed to be the super-skilled pilot? If he can fly falcons and that space-fighter, he should have learned to fly pelicans at pilot-school as well. Why not let the (supposedly) most skilled pilot fly?
Maybe six got jealous, and was telling Carter how bad he was flying (constantly), making Carter loose his self-esteem, cry blood, ask six "who is flying this pelican again?", and then tell them to jump off before six would make Carter go crazy.

It all makes sense to me now.
