Hi there...

I just downloaded Service Pack 2, and tried to run Halo but it says:

" A problem occured intialising Direct3D. Hardware Acceleration maybe disabled, please run DXDIAG" I ran dxdiag but found nothing wrong there.

My Specs: 2800+ AMD, 512 Ram, 9600XT 256 Mb

Please help its pissing me off .

Did you try reinstalling Direct X? That would be my first course of action. Or, if you want SP2 to go away, you can use system restore.

In some versions, when you run the setup executable it will give you the option to reinstall it. You could also try just installing it again. Also check your video drivers. When I installed SP2, it reverted back to thinking that I had my old video card. Then I used system restore, since it messed up many of my configurations, and programs.

I mean What the F***

I got rid of SP2 (uninstalled it) and Halo runs fine now. Eh???

Advice: DO NOT install SP2
