Poll: What is your favorite type of UNSC spaceship?  [closed]
Frigate:  6%

Halcyon/Marathon Class Cruiser:  43%

My guess is the Frigate is most popular. Obviously this is for UNSC only.

Have you seen my mind anywhere? I seem to have lost it...

0x0 x0x 0x0 000 000 x0x 000
x0x 0x0 0x0 0xx 000 0x0 000
x0x x0x x00 0xx 0x0 x0x 0x0

I have seen you future

The frigates are weak and mass produced, they can take almost no damage and have relatively little firepower. IMO if the UNSC had invested in better ships then they would have lost less people.

The Halcylon class cruiser could take a massive amount of damage and when modified (POA) was incredibly lethal.

The Super Carrier under Cole. Greatest ship EVER.

Agreed

i could counter however stating that this is for offense UNSC ships only. i do believe that the pelican was used as transport only right?

I am a practicing traditional Catholic.

I loved piloting the Sabre. I think I'd go for that than.

Then we also need the other tansport craft: The Albatross.

OT: I have to say the Refitted Pheonix-Class Colony Ship. It can transport large numbers of ground assets.

Friends before pixels.

Where is the Chiporita class?

  • 02.27.2011 11:35 AM PDT

Don't worry, you're still your mom's favorite Bnet member.

It's all about the Halcyon. Pillar of Autumn ftw.

  • 02.27.2011 11:37 AM PDT

Midsummer Night was good for stealthy firepower.
Iroquois was good for Keyes looping.
Pillar of Autumn was good for armor and 3 shot MAC.

Or maybe they were all good because Keyes was in them, just saying.

Wasn't that replaced by the Prowler?

the longsword is the most powerful conventional aircraft ever seen in any sense.

able to carry multiple nukes mines and twin 110MM Gatling guns, in case anyone doesn't know, imagine two assault rifles shooting simultaneously with rounds larger than what the scorpion shoots.

I would like to contest that. Pheonix-Class Colony Ships were almost twice the size as the Halcyon and two hundred years older, yet they were always capable for entering and exiting atmosphere. Why wouldn't that be a standard for the UNSC miltiary when designing ships when they already have the know-how?

Got to agree. I love the Pelican. However, I also really like Longswords and Shortswords, Longswords having the slight edge.
