They are "updated" versions. I didn't bother buying them because as far as I can tell there are no changes worth another 10 Euro for books I already own. I doubt your missing anything if you don't buy them There are some extra chapters at the end of each but they are short and you can get the details here anyway.

I bought them, for collection's sake, but they are in fact, worst off. There is a major typo in the TFoR, a date in fact saying that Sigma Octanus IV was defended in 2542 when in fact it was in 2552 in the original book.
Disapointing but still the same old Fall of Reach goodness. Though, First Strike was enjoyable to revisit, I can't say if there were any major changes.

First Strike had one of the biggest changes of all the rewrites, it removed the fact that "First Strike" was Chiefs first time seeing/fighting a Brute.

@privet caboose: Oh yes, now that you mention it, I remember slightly noticing something different with that part of the book. Cool!

"New better covers." I say they are worse. They don't make sense. First of all they are wearing some variation of MJOLNIR Mark IV when they are meant to be wearing Mark V and there is no Plasma Repeater in any of the books. Also they didn't rewrite the parts that actually needed to be edited.
