Force ghosts cannot be killed. They exist in a realm so far beyond your own you cannot even imagine it.

This is precisely what Neural Physics is: beyond comprehinsive matters of a physical universe.

Neural Weapons, such as the Halo Array, destroys literally anything with a conscious mind, no matter the "realm" or whatever. If it can interact with the physical realm we know of, or can interact with anything at all, Neural Weapons can destroy them.
But they're already deadz.

Halo and SW are different universes with different physical laws, in the end these debates are utterly pointless, especially when you introduce factors such as magic.

By contrast, what would Force Ghosts be capable of doing to the Precursors?Well, there have been isolated incidents when spirits of ancient Sith Lords have either corrupted the minds of, or even possessed the bodies of Jedi and other explorers, in a similar fashion to the Gravemind, perhaps? But this debate could go on forever, and I'll believe I'll concede now before it escalates into needless name-calling over something as trivial as this.

No problem. Debates like this are fun up and too the point where the fanboys arrive in masses and start spewing bull-blam!- and names at each other.

I'm actually surprised at the civility showed thus far in this one to be honest.

lightsabers vs energy sword

Tough one, but it depends on who's holding it. Both are made of plasma, but the Elites' shields could deflect the saber, while the saber could get caught in between the two sword blades and ripped out of the Jedi/Sith's hand.

But I suppose it can be said the saber is more natural to handle for humanoids.

Please don't hype for games...
They'll just fall short of your expectations and you'll complain for months.

God darnit, I really have to play KotOR

Actually star wars has celestials and celestials would dominate forerunners. That's just me though.

Lets see.

High Charity, nuff said.

Super Carriers that could carry a million troops.... Nuff said.

Forerunner 50km ships that could carry hundreds of thousands of troops.... Nuff said.

Last but not least, Halo.

We win.

This is also a possibility of course, but for one, we know next to nothing about them other then they got defeated by the Rakatans.

Though, you have to remember, Forerunners likely had as many warships as the CIS had battledroids if you read Cryptum. Their smaller ships, at one kilometer long, are already implied to be able to destroy a planet Death Star style (being called "Planet Breakers") While they have ships 99 kilometrs longer called Fortesses (Read the battle of the Captiol; Born says the Fortresses at that battle were twice the size of Deep Reverance, which was 50 km long) dwarfing all of Wars' conventional ships.

In Halo, you can usually gauge the power of ships by looking at their size and comparing them to other ships of different size in that faction. In all basic terms without really getting into detail, Planet Breakers can be said to be 100 times weaker then Fortresses.

Can't really gauge the power of the Celestials though. But either way, they'd be incapable of damaging the Precursors.

Tell me about it. I think I remember reading about the Death Star generating as much power as 7 main sequence stars. I was like lolwut?

In memory of those fallen in the defense of Earth and her colonies.

March 3, 2553

Spartands beat troopers, Jedi beat Spartans.

Covenant would pwn the a star destroyer.

  • 02.23.2011 8:38 PM PDT

halo would win with the flood ,forerunner and precursor. the covenant and humanity perhaps could make a difference

(is ancient humanity valid in this argument?)

It said Halo Universe, so yeah, they're valid.

So multiply the Forerunner X2.

Also remember: The Assembly will not let humanity lose. They can pull strings in such a way that Star Wars would have an invisible enemy they can do nothing to, and the Precursors.

Don't worry, you're still your mom's favorite Bnet member.

What factions are we including?
Flood, Covenant, UNSC, Forerunner, Precursor etc?
Empire, Jedi, Rebellion, etc?

Not only that, but apparantly snowspeeders have the same output as the bomb dropped on Hiroshima.

I'm dual-weildin' mah SMG's!

Hmmm, Lets seee

Death Star vs High Charity + Fleet?
Army of Stormtroopers vs Team of Spartans/Elites?

Star Destroyers vs Battle Cruisers/Assault Carriers?

This is interesting...

BTW Jackals wouldn't be Fosh, they're too Noble to be Jackals. Jackals would be Tiss-Shar

No contest. As much as I am a Halo fanboi, SW is so overpowered that assuming post human/covy war Halo would get wasted.

If we assume for a moment however, that weapons/shields were of equal power and we were comparing design philosophy only, then it's a stalemate.
UNSC/Covenant ships are "better" but less numerous, so would no doubt be outmanouvered and spammed to death.

Ground-based encounters always go in Halo's favour. IMHO.

Yeah... that thing would get destroyed by the forerunners in no time. Get a few million onyx sentinels, join them up together, fire, dead death star.

Or, you know, just nuke it with a:

1) NOVA

2) Forerunner Planet Breaker

3) Halo

4) Precursors.

No new games, catching up with the world, and filling it with the name of SpazDragon, the dragon with a spas-12.

One answer: Rakghoul vs. Flood

There is always the Expanded Universe to delve into. As the Forerunner powers and Precursor might exist outside of the games, so do the darknesses that amass outside of the Lucas Films (which demonstrate: "Storm Trooper uses blaster rifle! It's not effective!"

But still, I've heard in another thread of the past of Slipspace bombing. Cheeky bastards... The NOVA always, eh?

Use of Halo array is not a valid arguement, and neither should forrunners or precursers. Precursers up and left, and the Forrunners killed themselves. Halo kills everything IN YOUR OWN GALAXY ONLY, and is not a weapon. It's a "rocks fall, everyone dies" button; you don't win. To be fair on that note, no Star Forge.

Actually, I thought a lightsaber was made out of pure energized light/force energy. If that's true, I'm not so sure how that will work against a Plasma Sword.

Nope, full Halo and Star Wars Universe. Besides, humans may very well be a species of Precurser.
