Firstly, I would like to talk about my least favorite map, PINNACLE*sound of puppies dying*. You see, pinnacle is a map about which team can stay in one of the buildings better, and is quite annoying thus. Also, the people killing from the towers will have a very easy time if someone spawns in the middle. Especially in Team Snipers.
Secondly, THE CAGE (BUM BUM BUUM). The cage has always been a win/lose for one team. It has a tower that one team simply loves to roast marshmallows in. This isn't bad enough alone, but the problem is the spawn in front of the tower. Or the spawn in the tower (if there is one). The person in the tower easily sees the person heading for the sniper, can throw a grenade onto the canopy, shoot the person once, and they're dead. Kind of annoying if they have a whole location to set up, especially considering they can jump down from the open window in the tower to destoy attackers. Maybe just changing the sniper location to a more balanced location is better.
On a third note is the map Reflection, which is actually a pretty good map...when it is MLG. You see, the one thing that is annoying to me is this: the sniper spawns at a spot where the people staking out up there can easily keep getting it (or not) and still hold a defense position, wherein the other team cannot because the position is so easily defended. I think that the spawn location should be at the MLG position.
The last three maps that I want to talk about are community maps.
1. New Venice is completely open- the teams can travel to the island.
2. Mine Site has no "return to area" at the outside wall in a very large location.
3. Thrust is probably the most objectively balanced map I have ever played in this game(not including octagon(obviously)).
The last detail I would like to talk about is the point that elites...start with a power weapon in Elite Slayer. That is, the NEEDLER*babies starting to cry*. This gun should not be started out with, based on the clips in this game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFPgv2hJWIk
I perfectly shot that guy, and he still killed my by shooting the needler in my general direction. The clip is @ 3:50
Thanks for your time.
