Subject: What do you think happened after the Human- Covenant war?

Humans and Elites form a alliance and go after the remaining Covenant forces.

According to short stories and the like, humanity, being 99% crippled is mostly just recovering. The elites continue to fight the brutes and other loyalists.

Humanity slowly discovers what all this forerunner technology means to them. Over the centuries they begin to learn that the forerunner chose them to inherit their technology. And eventually perhaps, maybe humanity takes up the mantle of protectors of the galaxy, as they kind of already did through master chief.

This, though I doubt the Humanity being mostly crippled thing, there were still plenty of core worlds and fringe worlds held by the UNSC that the Covenant hadn't touched, and the only place they really touched on Earth was East Africa.

I agree that the Elites and UNSC would probably form some sort of lose alliance shortly after the war, and probably be initially a bit hostile and then form a closer alliance or something as time goes on and new generations arise and "forget" the past.

Actually most of the major cities on the planet were attacked, and apparently australia was completely wiped off the map.

actually, there were only 200 million humans left after the Human-Covenant War. Compare that to the Hundred of billions in 2524, and its pretty small.

Human and elite likely had an uneasy alliance or mutually peacful and non interacting realtionship.

Grunts probably have the same senarrcio, or go back to their homeworld.

Kig Yar contiue to act as pirates, perhaps trade in limited amounts with other races.

Drones almost certainly go back to their home world, as would the lekgolo.

Brutes most likely split into warring factions.

I think that humanity would start to repopulate worlds with the help of the elites and their ships.

They would re-discover old forerunner artifacts, the aliance becomes uneasy, because the elites believe that the forerunners's stuff should not be messed with.

aswell as cleaning up the remaining covenant, by the year 2583, things are getting very tense between the elites and humanity, and as we do, humanity obliterates sanghelios, heroshima style, and so begins the new war between the elites and the unsc.

once the elites glass earth in a quick and bloody battle in 2585, the unsc enlists the help of the new elite sepratists, to smuggle Flood spores anboard elite ships and their worlds.

However, as it has only been a matter of days in the slipspace bubble for halsey and the spartans, they escape the dyson sphere after some ancient forerunner enginiers find the Spirit of Fire and take it to the doc and her spartans.

Halsey has located the living Forerunners outside the galaxy andask them for help in stopping the war.

realising that it is the only option, halsey and the forerunners decide to destroy all sheild instalations and on new years day 2586, halsey activates the Ark 2.0 and obliterates all life in the galaxy.

oh! and bungie start up.

2 years before harvest, bungie releases gnop. after the events of h3, they publish Halo:Combat Evolved in honor. After halo's 2, 3 and many other titles, (hereis where the fun starts) the unsc congradulates them along with the members of the blppd gulch outpost #1 events and the freelancer project. they study forrunner artifacts and are sent back in time to warn humanity abhout halo, the covenant, and the flood.

How very optimistic astro....

I think that the humans and elites would hold an alliance, as the elites had gained respect for us when we held off the entire covenant as long as we did.(in halo 2 they wouldn't of joined us if they thought us to be worthless...) i no in ghosts of onyx it says they were planning to stab us in the back, but i think they may give up on that. They have a sense of honor and again, we gained their respect. they have bigger problems, like the flood and the shattered covenant remnants.

Once we had our feet on the ground and had repaired the earth, we would probably start to repopulate the planets we once held. (Reach ending kinda shows us that...)We might study the flood as well, seeing how a cure for that would be an as important breakthrough as slip space was. We'll probably have a much less violent relationship with each other, as humans would probably realize their species is endangered. Once we all that happened, i have absolutley no idea. Hopefully we'll find out on halo 4 or wat eve is the halo from 343.

(I want to find out what happened to chief, anyone else annoyed we waited a decade for the an ending and got a non clear one? no offense bungie the games were still great.)

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

Spartan´s probably helped the Elites in fighting the remaining Brute forces.

While the Elite´s also gave some economical support to the UNSC´s resbuilding efforts and recolonization.

Why do people think Elites will help the UNSC ?The two of them just had a war between themself before and had a difficult alliance.Okay the elites saved the humans but that's because they had too, stop the flood and truth. That's why they had an alliance, after the war both of them went back to their own business.

You think that the humans are gonna forget the slaugher? The elites can't even built their own ships anymore let alone help their former enemy.

You think they will have a happy alliance, forget the war and have an infinite budget to rebuilt themself? No,it happens in franchises for kids but not in Halo.

But both factions will still life in peace .I hope so.

Um no...there was atleast 700 Million on Earth alone after the war. Not counting other worlds.

The humans and Elites would form a mutually benificial alliance--if uneasy. See, Elites need technology and ships to help stave off extinction, humans need protection from some of the more pissed off factions and Kig-yar pirates.

We'd be better off with advanced weaponry to defend ourselves, and the Elites would not be going anywhere without our scientists.

a preposterous load of banter begging a good listening to

in 2585, during reach's rebuilding, an oddly advanced looking colonies ship can be seen in the backround, suggesting humans are rapidly advancing as they rebuild. elites, after the war is over with the brutes search for meaning in their existence, and return to their world to repopulate. Grunts were wiped out on the ark, considering they were all deployed their. The females were killed off on high charity. thats all I know.

What!?

Sinse when did I say that this was fan fiction.

I don't do Fan Fiction, because its not canon, and so i don't believe what I am reading.
The worst Fan Fiction of all is 'post halo 3'!

The above, that was just me out lining out what i think might happen once the war has ended.
Theres no need to get all 'silver spoon up your ass' about it, is there?

No it was only a couple of major citys which were a significant threat to the covanant, Cuba was attacked I think.

Australia wasn't wiped out either, it was banged up though with sydney being thrashed due to some secret unsc base there.

"Find where the liar hides, so that I may place my boot between his gums!" - Rtas 'Vadum

It would be sort of interesting to see what the Forerunner would do/think about the Covenant races after seeing the state they left Humanity in.

ONI's propaganda program may come in useful when trying to form relations with the other races, but I can't see why they would want to. Humanity does not really need their help.

There cannot be a war between the Elites and Humanity if the Elites are extinct and no longer exist. It is heavily implied in the Encyclopedia that Sangheilios is they only world they have.

GOOD GOD!!! NO!!! That is almost completely moronic, and is utterly wrong on so many levels.

Sure things will be a bit tense between Humanity and the Elites, but I very, very, very, very, VERY HIGHLY doubt that either side will start another war with each other, I am pretty damn sure they'll have some sort of pact of mutual-non aggression to the other, and they'll probably form some sort of closer alliance as time goes on and new generations rise.

And if you think either side would use the Flood as a bioweapon you're way off your rocker and a complete nutcase. If the Flood so much as showed a tentacle again Humanity and Elites would join forces once more and put their grudges and differences aside to fight the common threat. Neither side would even think about using the Flood as a bioweapon.

And Halsey would never fire the Halo Rings to eliminate all life, that is way out of character for her, especially from what we know about her in Ghosts of Onyx. The only way she would fire the Halo Rings is using the Forerunner's "collect and reseed" idea, and even then she'd only do that if the Flood were at an unstoppable threat level again.

Where did you even get these ideas? The only ones that seem even remotely plausible are there being Forerunners still alive somewhere, Humanity repopulating their old worlds, and Halsey and the others getting out of the Onyx Shield World.
