what do people think if they made a new halo about the covenants view throughout the whole series but not as bad as playing as the arbiter

I really never minded playin as the Arbiter, but thats prolly just because i like him as a character, but if it was from the covenant perspective at least you would win more often.

You were totally and absolutely correct in every way, I don't know why we were arguing, you're so amazing I should never have doubted you.

Arbiter in Halo 2 was awesome. I don't understand all the hate.

I am Field Master Avu Med 'Telcam, Servant of the Abiding Truth, and I have many brothers.

A god who creates tools is still a god. It is not for us to impose qualifications upon the divine or presume to guess its intentions.

Yes it is spelt like that on purpose.

I really liked the insight and sort of "behind the scenes" look we got while playing as the Arbitor in H2. I too didn't understand all the hate for the Arbitor. Now a whole game being based off that may be hard. Maybe if it was over the course of the entire trilogy it would work. What I think I would much rather see would be the aftermath of Halo 3. There is still a lot of unresolved issues within the Covenant after the fall of the Profits. It's an area I could definitly see getting a little more attention.

Reach beats everything!!!

I think it would be deeply respected and looked upon as... a miracle? From the Prophets it's like yeah these dumb elites will finally -blam!- die! And the elites would probably react to it pretty happily.

The fall of the profits? were the covenant affected by the economic crisis too?:P

"Question. Which Spartan is best?"
"That's a ridiculous question."
"False. Master Chief."
"Well, that's debatable. There are basically two schools of thought."
"Spartans shoot Sangheili. Spartans. Sangheili.....Battle Star Galactica."

Fortune favors the Bold

Idk, I would be a little upset. Just cause they keep telling the same story over and over again and fail to finish every and all the stories they still have. I.E. Master Chief and Kelly and them I feel like if they redid it from the covenants side they would screw up some canon like they have done multiple times.

Ignore my gamertag. It's actually Dragonzzilla.

I've fought mudcrabs more fierce than you!

Try halo2 that was essentially based on the covenants story. It's probably as close as you'll get. I myself would love a game totally based around the covenant, or even better playing as the forerunner or precursors.
