Chapters are only meant for association and private conversations. NOT really competition.

But if you must really show off the number of groups, if you must go beyond #20, then go add my group, The Flood Regulars.

ODST Recon definitely uses disreputable methods of member-boosting. I got sucked in in one of those mass-PM sweeps, and left the group a couple of days later. Pretty much every second thread in there is '800 members and counting!' or 'We now have 850 Members!' I'm sure you don't have to be a genius to see the ethics behind that group.

I will guess and say you are a MBT member, i may be wrong but you seem to have no love loss for ODST Recon. Yes, ODST Recon is trying to expand, but we do have active forums, good discussions and competitions like the rest, and people in our group are trying to recruit new blood. And what is wrong with that how is it Disreputable?

Oh and The Watchers are not dead, the number just goes from 210 to 215 for some reason.

Every single "top member chapters" thread descends into some form of petty dispute over activity, recruitment methods etc. I think you need to get your priorities sorted out. Chapters are social groups, for members to participate in discussions of specific topics etc. They're not contestants in member count competitions, so please, please stop trying to make them be.

I never said this was a contest Pyched, I just wanted to note the chapter of mine, and tell that the Wathers is active, because I just don't want people to think it's dead.

That'd be under the false assumption that my comment was aimed at you.

I'd agree. Ok, it's not New Mombasa, but the Watchers is certainly not dead. There are far more interesting discussions going on there than, for example, "the respawns suck lately!!!" in New Mombasa.

He isn't a MBT member. Also I am against Mass PMing and I think that is wrong that you do it. I am in ODST Recon and I think it is a descent group with some cool people but I think sig advertising and classified ads should be all that we do becuase mass PMing is wrong.

How'd you know I wasn't in MBT... but yeah. Basically I have no bias at all against ODST Recon, but I still thought it was a low-quality group. I'd rather take quality over quantity, which is exactly why I'm posting here, not in Zanzibar.

I'm not that active, but never dead.

Click on your name, then press the button that says "groups". Elementary.

And this needs to be locked.
