The thing is, a lot of the best default Halo Reach players and some of the biggest default Halo 3 Matchmaking warriors.
Gotta love those verb-less sentences.

Playing on a 6 up is more advantageous as it provides an extra split second, enough to make a difference in gameplay.
that's one of the dumbest things i've ever heard.
It might not be the case for you, as you guys are top notch players. But in the lower 40s, if it takes you twice as long to turn around, it takes that much extra time to put the kill down. Or clean up a kill. Either way, it makes sense. The less time it takes you to do something, the faster it will be done. Therefore, you will be done faster than if you were on a 1. Sometimes, that extra time is enough to determine the difference between life and death. In reality, not much of a difference. For some it is hard to play on a 10, and others prefer a lower sensitivity. I just like 10, and I feel that I have an advantage as I can turn around, focus my scope, lead my shots, move my reticle etc. more quickly. Really, it comes down to what you prefer. But I don't see how that is the 'dumbest' thing you have seen. Not heard.
you can turn around as fast as you want, but if you can't keep your aim steady when it won't help you one bit. 10/10 times i'd rather take that extra half a second to turn around if it means i can land all my shots.
i have never seen a good player that plays on 10, and i guarantee you would be better if you moved down to something like 3 or 4.
Eh, a few MLG pros play on a 10, and a few of my friends do too. And they arent bad. http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Halo3/Default.aspx?player=mah+lil +sis&sg=1 <Plays on a 10.
I'll move down to a 4 and see if my gameplay improves. Hopefully, it will XD
