"There's this theory that if there were an infinite number of monkeys pecking away at typewriters, they would eventually write the great works of Shakespeare, but thanks to the internet we now know that's not true." -Adam Savage

"Time is not made out of lines. It is made out of circles. That is why clocks are round." -Caboose

I was just wondering two things.
1. Where does the last book in the Halo series leave and
2. Is there an official ending to the entire Halo universe storyline?
Don't worry about spoilers cause I don't care.

Another Question: Has the human-covenant war ended yet?

master chief stranded in intergalactic space next to mystery planet

halsey and some spartan-IIs inside the shield world after battle of onyx

head hunters and black team still in covenant space

covenant breaks, elites return to homeworld, prophet race probably goes extinct, brutes supposedly battle themselves into extinction

Flood = ????

that's pretty much as far as my knowledge goes

Don't worry, you're still your mom's favorite Bnet member.

Well Halo Evolutions is a collection of works from all throughout the Halo timeline, including after the war. And the farthest in time we've ever gone is July 7, 2589.

To our knowledge the UNSC is rebuilding, the Elites are either wiping out or allying what's left of the Covenant and the Brutes are fighting themselves into extinction.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

If you count the Believe campaign, we're well into the 2600's.

To our knowledge the UNSC is rebuilding, the Elites are either wiping out or allying what's left of the Covenant and the Brutes are fighting themselves into extinction.

From what I've gathered, the Sangheili aren't doing all that well against the Jiralhanae. The destruction of Joyous Exultation during Ghosts of Onyx left the Sangheili with their backs against the wall (probably another motive for them to join with humanity). Remember, it was the Covenant that supplied them with ships and repairs - alone they do not know what to do.

They've got nothing to fight for either because the religion that dominated their culture for thousands of years is void.
