Carth?

Oh no, my friend. There is a single act more satisfying than that.

That is <careful, reading the following may cause acts of violence and general bad thoughts. Kids, don't try this at home.> cutting down Mission with Zalbaar. You know, force persaude him to kill her. I'm sorry, but I laughed so hard the first time I did that. Too much GTA? Maybe...

The "Best Game" is strictly a matter of opinion so the answer with vary with other ppl. i personaly think Super Mario Bros. 3 was the best, but thats just an opinion. tho i like halo does come in second for me

halo is not my favorite game anymore. i can easily go for a couple months without having halo-fits. my soultiuon? DDR: ultramix! its the best thing to happen to any console, arcade, or anything. least, until halo 2 comes, that is.

trivia: this post was started, but wasn't finished for about 3 hours. i got a little sidetracked (watched jumanji, ate dinner, shot the -blam!- for a while)

I love halo, personally I think it's one of the best FPS (I liked it more then Goldeneye), but I gotta go with blizzards RTSs, Warcraft and Starcraft.

bah

If you define what my favorite games have been bu how much I play them, you'll find out Halo is the only FPS on the list. I generally don't like first person shooters. I guess that would place Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri at the top of the list, followed by Escape Velocity Nova. For consoles, it would be Super Mario World (Yoshi!) and Super Smash Bros (Yoshi Yoshi Yo-shi!). I love Yoshi a lot. But the best game of all has to be Halo. Even though I've owned it for far less time than the other games (except Nova), I've probably played it more than them all combined. Halo just plain kicks ass.

My favorite in the world would be Chrono Trigger for SNES.

Chrono Trigger is the best game out. I agree. Halo, Starcraft, Diablo 2, Half Life, and DOOM are also way up there.

Oh, and I love the newest Nova, Rip-saw.

i would not call halo the best game, i would say the best fps though
because fps's focus on different stuff then some other generes, i'd say it has some of the best gameplay and a great story but it lacks strategy then again rpg's generaly have excelent story and allright gameplay and very little strategy and rts's have alright gameplay, crappy stories(in general) and excellent strategy

most of my favorite games are rpg's for example secret of mana, chrono trigger, ff7, robotrek(old awsome snes rpg) then i like blizzard rts's(war3, starcraft)and i only realy like halo and 13 for fps

I could just imagine the look on the faces of the employees at Bungie to find out that we don't think that Halo is the best game ever. Especially when Donkey Kong Country for SNES is around. Such a fun game.

Halo is easily number one on my list, but for me, there are others. I am a big fan of the original Splinter Cell. Pandora Tomorrow isn't a bad game, but I think when Ubi Soft added the multiplayer concept, it seems evident that they detracted from the singleplayer. Prince of Persia was a great game too. The combat style in that game was ground breaking, and it was easily one of my favorite adventure games. Someone above me said Ninja Gaiden, which I agree with. I was very satisfied on the completion of that game, it was challenging, lengthy, and fun to play. The Metal Gear Solid series was another good one, but there are way too many cut-scenes and the plots are always very strange and I find difficult to understand sometimes. But overall, I'd still say Halo is the best game, but its not the only game I play.
