Halo Reach Mythic Conqueror

So I have really wanted to play some Halo 2 lately and have been thinking about getting XBC or kai but my problem is that when I put in Halo 2 it tells me my downloaded content is corrupted and needs to be redownloaded. If I go into my system settings all of the map packs are there. Is there anything I can do to fix this or am I basically screwed and can never play those maps again? I do have my old xbox and could theoretically hook that up and play but all my controller are really old and worn out and by now I'm used to the 360 controller much more. Is there any way to transfer the maps from my old xbox to my 360? So annoying, wish H2 was just still online or at least its marketplace...

I've had the same problem recently, and the conclusion I came to after doing research is that I'm screwed. You can get H2V or the Map Pack disc, but neither option will allow you to play Tombstone or Desolation which sucks :\

Yea, I've been thinking about buying the map pack disc, I just think its lame that I can't use these things that I purchased. Where is the justice in that? I'm about 99% sure that I bought every map pack that came out with halo 2. I didn't wait for them to be free. There goes 30 bucks (or however much they were).

EDIT: Just looked it up
Killtacular Pack: $4.99
Maptacular Pack: $11.99
Blastacular Pack: $4.00
Bonu Map Pack: Free

I want my 21 dollar back!

Can't you use a transfer cable from the original box to the 360?

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

Get a transfer cable or a softmod.

When you send the maps over through Transfer Cable it makes you resign for the maps. If you have the newer 360 Hard Drive you can't directly connect to your computer to resign them.

Out of curiosity, where might one find/buy a transfer cable?

Best Buy for one but I assume anywhere they sell a lot of 360 accessories (Target, Walmart, etc.). I don't know if you need a different cable to transfer from an original box to a 360 or not.

You need a softmodded xbox to transfer from an original to a 360.

Yea, that cable seems to be to transfer from old 360s to the new 360s. Why did microsoft have to make it so hard?

Halo 2 for Life!

It's against their relgion of making money, to make things easy.

If they made everything easy, than they would be trying to hard and their new stuff might not be as good. Although their "new" stuff has flaws from the clash of new and old in ways that tore apart the Halo universe and the principles that made it good.

I think I might be going off topic...

I also have this problem.

When my old 360 died, I simply swapped hard-drives with the newer console, so I would still have all of my old content. Unfortunately, that's when I got the error. I even tried transferring licenses between consoles, but to no avail.

So, anyways, I'm not sure that a transfer cable will do you much good, since those maps probably "belong" to the console on which they were downloaded. But it's worth a try - Good luck :)

Unless you resign them. It's how people make savegame mods.
