They're voluntary, non paying members who moderate our forums from spammers and our safety.

They're normal members like us but they work their asses off locking threads and getting high and drunk.

Don't fool or offend them. They'll use their ninja moves.

I already know that...I have been here for 7 months and 10 days. I wanted to hear about what they do individually everyday.

TGP is beyond normal. IMO, he is the heardest working moderator.

Well. I'm off for Christmas break at the moment, so I'll post my little story of an average day right now.

I wake up after a night of partying, hardcore -blamin- and beer chugging contests. I'm usually in a unfamiliar house/bed with someone I don't know.. I tend to pop a few pills before I remember last night.

I get up, dazed, hungover, hungry. I make some ramen for breakfast (it's 2 PM) while I stare out my window. After I eat, I stumble over my mess to my computer, slowly logging on to Bungie.net. I sometimes have PMs in my inbox, the typical stuff. They range from "WHY U BAN ME" to "I love Daft Punk".

I moderate for a few hours, wash up, get dressed, and do the same song and dance as the night before. A friend hands me an open Pepsi can. I then continue to drift the night away.

Holy Crap! That sounds like my average day...maybe we are lost twins Toast destined to party together somewhere?

Well, I wake up in the moring bored as hell, staring at my funkn' TV. My friekn' dad won't give me my controller because I play too much Halo. I keep asking for them for hours and hours and then finally get them. I get my controller and start playing some Halo 2, waiting for my bro to get up, so I can mod with him. Finally, I get infront of my XBOX, and start softmodding!

I don't work that heard. I just don't have much to do in the mornings except play Myth and moderate... and in the evenings...

*cough*

Damn holidays.

Censored? Uh, okay?

This is my guess of what an average moderators experience is on bnet in a day:

Log on.
Respond to 5+ PMs for locking threads.
Respond to 2+ PMs explaining why Ninjas were unleashed on someone.
Go to Septagon, make intelligent/funny post that earns a sig quote.
Go to Zanzibar and ban 5+ idiots.
Go to Flood and lock 3+ threads hat are spam for even the Flood.
Patrol all forums locking, moving, and deleting threads in the process for 1/2 hour.
Check 3 out of 25 chapters, and post.
Go back to step 2.

C'mon, can't you give us more than that? So far we have only had one Moderator tell us his average days as a Bnet mod. I'm not sure if Shishka actually counts though. Maybe his words are so complicated that they get censored?

It’s really built into the psychology of the Moderators, people want to know about us because we don’t flaunt our personal lives, you know? So we can all keep you guess as to what we really do.

You ain't Warren G. Harding.

I'll bet the average day of a mod involves a spot of kangaroo boxing before eating a hearty bowl of Apple Jacks whilst wasting the day watching cartoons.
