I've never read this forum regularly: as a PC gamer, I've always been in the "Halo 1 & 2 PC " thread of bungie.net. The reason why I'm here now is because I've read many topics recently in which many of you expressed their disappointment with Halo Reach and their will to return to play Halo 3. I have also come to know that Halo 3, actually, is not as much supported as it was before Halo Reach release. I heard that many features of the multiplayer have been removed or reduced.
In my opinion, a way to renew Halo 3 to its previous greatness is to port it to PC. If Halo 3 was released to PC, this would be some good news both to Xbox360 owners and to PC gamers. The first would be able to play the game fully as they used to and the latter would be able to complete the trilogy after more than 3 years of waiting.
I think that the game should be compatible with both mouse & keyboard and Xbox360 controller, in order to let anyone to feel at his ease. A mistake that should not be done is cross-platform. In fact, cross-platform would favour console-users or PC gamers depending on how much the first are helped in the aim system. In my opinion, a solution could be to let the host of the server decide which players are allowed to play in his match: only people who use Xbox360 controllers, only people who use mouse & keyboard, or both.
