You need to learn to anticipate the moves the other team do. Simple things like backing off 1 shot earlier than on green bar. People throw nades for 3 reasons.
1) Pre-nading a corner before they go around it.
2) Mid 1v1 (Snipe vs BR, BR vs BR, etc.)
3) After a few shots you back off, then they pre-nade where you might come back.
So basically, you need to avoid those situations, in fact, expect them. When you can do that, you can easily avoid nades, regardless of the connection.
