Hey, what do you know... I found it. As requested, here's the link where I procured my information. I know little about the hardware save it uses the new IBM G5 processor thing that all the next generation consoles are going to be using.
In the article it also says that they're going to emulate Xbox games on the new system so they will be backwards compatible and they've already fielded out this task to a group that has experience with it.
Secondly, I don't think it's in this particular article but I read in one that Microsoft was doing something never done before. The XNA is pretty much done, they're using it to make Dark Sector. Now they have numerous companies working on different components for the system instead of the way Sony's doing everything themselves. Since each company is concentrating on only one component they're hoping to get the system out five times faster so that they can monopolize the market.
Another thing I liked is the mention of cross-platform in the Kikizo article, PC to Xbox combpatibility for controllers in the future. Sounds like USB to me but that's just conjecture.
