Subject: Master Chief Promised to marry Parisa?

I smell a potentially interesting subplot in Halo 4...

Woah. MC talking all... ...I'd say good idea, but it's gonna be a pass for me.

Not to be a downer, but she probably died when Regret's ship went into Slipspace.
Actually not. Parisa was the LT of Sergeant Banks' bunch - hit as soon as they dropped in in Halo 2, but apparently no longer so. The last time we saw Banks was on Delta Halo, alongside Stacker. The last time we saw Stacker was March 3rd 2553.

Man is born free but everywhere he is in chains.

Cortana has probably done something to make sure Parisa doesn't know about John being Master Chief.

Entirely depends where the short fit in with the battle. To me, it sounded almost like it was more of the old-city then downtown.

Master Cheif is an emotionless, robotic killing machine and this will never make it to a game.

The Master Chief does have emotions he just can't show them cause he would be compromised as a leader and would lose focus ( READ THE FALL OF REACH AND FIRST STRIKE)

H4 better invlove this, or I'm suing 343.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

:)
The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

I liked that part of Palace Hotel alot. It was the best part, no doubt.

Hopefully something will happen since the war is over if she's still alive and John ever makes it back to Earth. I would like to see that relationship through.

I love evolutions but there are some stories that is just hard for me to read. For instance, The Mona Lisa is the longest story in that book, but I just can't follow it and have a hard time concentrating with the writing style. I just skipped it and moved on to the next one.

Chief has a history of people close to him getting killed.
Captain Keyes
Miranda Keyes
Sgt.Johnson
The most of crew of the Pillar of Autumn
Sam
Arthur
Solomon

And so on. Odds don't look good for Parisa.

I'm inclined to agree.

Completely random and not supporting of my views. (My next statement)

That's how chief is so lucky and survives! He drains the luck from people around him and they end up dying instead of him!
I literally lol'd.

The story clearly takes place during the metropolis level. The toll plaza, the tunnel, the park, the downtown plaza and the path to the quays all appear in both the game and the short in the same order. The place where Parisa was is clearly the same place where you meet Banks in Halo 2.

Mona Lisa is the best story in the book, imo. lol. I think you should take the time to read it. It starts off a bit slow, but gets one-hundred times better. You just gotta stick with it. Trust me, it's worth it. I loved that story.

It is more scary (IMO) then 343 guilty spark <_<.

At the same time, it has a few humor elements which surprisingly don't detract from the overall feel of it.

I'll try it... but I doubt I'll like it even after reading. The composure and style just seem too choppy, and the characters can be compared too easily to the marines in the movie Aliens. Really cocky, stuck up (in a way), and talk really heavily with a slang. Which is fine for a movie but doesn't fit in a book for my taste. Your taste is different and that's fine.

I really enjoyed that part of Palace Hotel but I didn't like the rest of the story. Mona Lisa I though was pretty good but too long. My favorite was Dirt, I really liked how it ended, it just came full circle.

About me: I am a vicious wolf of a man.

But really am sweet at heart. =)

Love how Chief remembers her name, and saving her from drowning, and taking a picture with her.

But can't remember his last name.

Love how the memory is triggered by seeing a picture, and her talking about the picture. Not him remembering off the bat all the details.

*Sigh* It's called certain things can trigger a memory.
