I need your help...Any one out there??? I got my Xbox in the fall of '02.. On my Birthday, as a present... The thing is i think that i either got it used, or he dropped it, because when i got it, there was alredy memory stored on it, for games i didn't even own... Also, it almost never loaded my games.... I'd spend an hour an a half just trying to get my games to load... Even with new games, the problems persisted...But i didn't do anything, because this was the first time i had even played an xbox... so i thought that that was natural, or was supposed to happen...I didn't get the warrantee, and Best Buy wouldn't let me return it, because they thought i had done it... Are there others like me out there, who got jipped, or knows what to do??? I need some help, and quickly, before H2 comes out... Im gonna have to put in some serious gaming time, tring to prepare for that big day....But i fon't know if my Xbox will be able to handle it...

i have nothin for you. sounds like your screwed but if you want to just a new one of ebay.com for like as cheap as 20 bucks. Just make sure it is new in box thats where i got my friends for him. Or you could sell your jacked up one for some cash and buy a good one. Hope this helps

Yeah, sell your jacked up one. If you live in the UK there's a chain of stores called 'Cash Convertors' and they'll take loads of crap off your hands.

Although, you do need to be over 16 (or is it 18?) to sell to stuff to them and have proof of address (they're tightening up). Just sell it to them, using a game (sell that to them too, it'd be worth it) that works the best on the console.

I got conned with a Duke Controller at 'Gamestation' a while ago (paid £17) because the A button is a little sticky and the down on the D-pad is screwed. I'll simply sell it to 'Cash Convertors' or switch it with some guy I don't like at my next LAN game.

Simple as that!

Save up some cash and buy a new Xbox. It's not too expensive right now and is about $140...I think.

About that memory problem: get a cheep Xbox mem card, and load the data onto that. (You have to boot up the Xbox without a game, select the bar titled 'memory' and just transfer the stuff from the hard drive on the old one to the new Xbox through the mem card.)

You could sell the crappy Xbox on ebay for what price you think is right. That is if you're 18 or have your parents do it for you if your under 18. (You need a Credit Card.)

BTW, I live in California and my B-day is one day before your's and 6 days before Halo2 comes out.
