Subject: How did you feel when you Finished the Fight?

"Living to smile, and not to succeed; smiling to inspire happiness, not to give the illusion you are happy; creativity and music to inspire smiling, which in turn inspires happiness; being nice to be happy, not for being perceived a good person."

Give me your honest answer.

I honestly felt sad because Halo was just such an amazing game to me, but I knew that was probably one of the best endings they could have given the series, so I loved it.

I just play for fun. MLG can kiss my ass.

I felt nothing, because I finished someone else's fight because we were playing co-op and the phone rang. I didn't finish a fight, I forgot to start it.

you are a good translator
Idiot can be a hard language to learn, but once you get it down, everything becomes so clear! The whole world will make sense to you.

I honestly don't know what I felt. I feel like the scale of the prior battles could have been bigger, but it seemed like a fitting end to the series.

Honestly i turned it off when the credits rolled so i went to bed thinking the chief died, and i felt like man this sucks!! but i played the last level again the next day and stayed the whole way through to see the legendary ending and i was blown away.

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

I was still pissed that they killed Johnson. Miranda was a throwaway character for me, and MC didn't really die, he just got on a bus. But man, even unscripted AI Johnson saved my life numerous times, so watching uselessly as 343 goes crazy (as expected) and kills him was pretty irritating.

We're, uh, we're talking about Halo 3, right? I never played Reach. >_>

Sangheili Major: "Brute ships. Staggered line! Shipmaster, they outnumber us, three-to-one!"

Rtas 'Vadum: "Then it is an even fight. All Cruisers, fire at will! Burn their mongrel hides!"

I was sad... The ending was touching, and even Johnson's cheesy death was sad to me. And then I was happy and sort of like "Dude what?" at the Legendary ending.

I lol'd at the absurd miscommunication that occurs whenever dibbs post something. Perhaps his brain is so highly evolved that he can no longer clearly communicate with lesser life forms, even among his own species.

I felt tired and just wanted to go to sleep but she wanted to sit and talk about how amazing it was.

I had myself a little cry at the Chief's memorial.

And then I was all excites and amazed when the Legendary ending.

Then I sads.

Then I multiplay.

Then couldn't get past Rank 42.

Then I sads.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

''Are you freakin' serious?''

I knew that was an obvious cliffhanger for a possible future sequel. I would have perfered it to have ended there with The Master Chief either dying or making it back to Earth.

Same goes with Mass Effect, the first one could have ended perfectly if Cmd. Shepard would have died. But I'm not saying that it should have finished there, ME2 was amazing and I cant wait for the thrid.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

Accomplished. No, not really. I don't know what I felt. It's something that truly cannot be exlplained. You have an overwhelming amount of mixed feelings that you can't quite put all together.

Sad, and a bit underwhelmed by the the whole Covenant attacking earth and the Arbiter becoming the Chief's sidekick.

Then I found out the Chief was still alive and all I thought about was MS, milk and a cash cow named Halo. Plus fan service.

I am Godlike!

I felt good. I finally beat all 3 Halo games solo on Legendary :3

  • 03.03.2011 6:38 PM PDT

Friends before pixels.

Well, I beat it on Legendary first, so I felt like a god for about 10 seconds. Then I saw that the Master Chief "died".

Then I was sad.

i said "OK, that was badass, time to go play CoD"

  • 03.03.2011 7:34 PM PDT

Friends before pixels.

Well, I also felt like a dick after being on the Covenant side for my entire Halo life.

I'd love to be a 10 year old and tell my mom I'm going on an adventure out into the world catching Pokemon, with her full support. Never mind the fact that there are rapists, criminals, and murders out there, or the fact that I may get killed by a Pokemon.

Luckily I have Pikachu.

Disapointed, I didn't feel like I finished anything mainly because Halo 3 had a terrible story.
