Your links are kinda broken.

But that PC2100 RAM would fit in your E-Machines, it's just, that I don't know WHY you would even want a 256mb stick of PC2100 RAM.

because the 512 sticks are sold out in the store i want to get them at. and i don't have enough money to buy a new motherboard/pc. and wait, you're saying that there are other types of RAM that will work with this comp?

what you can do is go to http://www.crucial.com then go to the Crucial Memory Advisor™ Tool and do what it tells you to.

according to it the types that are compatible with your pc are:

DDR 266 (PC 2100) in 1 GB, 512 GB, and 256 GB
or
DDR 333 (PC 2700) in 128 MB

so in short, yes that stick will work.
