Anders, Cutter, Red Team, Omega Team and the crew?

Were they ever found?, if so, when?

As far as we know, it's still lost in space.

In the legendary ending Serina says something to the Captain, "something has happened", that made me think will be Halo Wars 2, but Ensemble Studios doesn't exist anymore. Do you think there will be a HW 2?

"I may not be perfect, but always been true."

The timeline is a little confusing, since Halsey reports that most of the Spartans were recalled, and as far as I know, the only ones missing by now were the members of Grey Team.

But they also never state if the Spirit of Fire returned, so I'm going to go with the Halo Wars is not 100% canon and say that either it's still lost or it returned to UNSC forces before The Fall of Reach happened.

This is obviously not it because if they had returned, the UNSC would have known about the Flood, and Prophets and a lot of stuff before they found Halo.

Ensemble shut down, but nearly all of it's employees started a new studio instantly.

Edit: Spirit of Fire never returned to human space. If they had, Forerunner structures/tech wouldn't be still pretty much unknown.

Well, considering the fact that Halo Wars' timeline says that 25 of the 28 surviving Spartans were at Reach, with the Three members of Gray Team being the ones missing, then you could say that Wars' timeline contradicts the game itself.

We are determined that before the sun sets on this terrible struggle our flag will be recognized throughout the world as a symbol of freedom on the one hand and of overwhelming force on the other.

I remember hearing how it returned to Mars but this was just talk, I'm not exactly sure.

If the Spirit of Fire was labeled as "lost with all hands" (Which it was, though family of the crew refused to believe it), then Alice, Douglas, and Jerome wouldn't be labeled as 'surviving spartans' <_<

The Spirit of Fire, previously designated as "missing", was declared "lost with all hands" by the UNSC. The reason for this change was kept top secret. A memorial service was held for the people aboard the vessel, but many of the crew's family members chose not to attend, holding out hope that their loved ones are still alive. Various theories circulated throughout the UNSC as to the ship's actual fate, ranging from being lost during a covert mission for ONI, destroyed in orbit over Arcadia, defecting to Insurrectionist forces, or being stranded in space. When Mary Cutter, wife of Captain James Cutter, was asked about the defection theory, she physically assaulted the reporter.

Halo Wars' timeline mentions that a total of 25 out of 28 surviving SPARTAN-IIs were present at Reach. The three absent SPARTAN-IIs are the members of Gray Team. This timeline also confirms that five SPARTAN-IIs were no longer in active duty since the augmentation of the SPARTAN-IIs. Samuel-034, Kurt-051, Randall, Sheila, and another SPARTAN-II mentioned to be "too wounded to continue active duty" are part of this count.

The ship and all its crew were either destroyed, or not recovered until after the Covenant vs UNSC war.

I predict a halo wars 2 sometime. Simply because they left it perfectly open for a sequel.
