Never had this problem before, but now I can't get rid of it despite reinstalls. In the main menu, everything goes faster than normal. The background loops in about 3sec, and you can't set key bindings because anything counts as "hold". Ingame it's really glitchy, hard to describe beyond that. Anyone know what's wrong? I don't even know if it's a graphics problem or something else, so I'm stuck.

All legit. I'm using the XP loader, but that's worked fine before.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

I'm a pirate too lazy to upgrade to Vista/7. Please don't help me.

My Youtube - Halo 2 Online Co-op
BUNGIE AND MICROSOFT FAILS HALO 2 VISTA.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Halo 2 Vista will never have 100% functionality on Windows XP.

The hackers learned not to bother making a p.o.s game run on Windows XP.

True, but that's not really the same category of problem.

There is no spoon.

I have the legit game, installed it with GFWL and H2 patches on a legit install of XP. Works fine. I even have the original Halo: Combat Evolved on the same system, not having any problems playing either one whenever i chose.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

I had a problem similar to this due to missing sound drivers. I tried to think in terms of, "what would Xbox provide as an environment for this game?". Sound, video, input... really not sure what else. Man, this would sure be easier to figure out with source code.
