Okay, I have Shaw cable, a good computor and a good connection in my local network. Lately, internet has been slow as hell, and then keeps dropping out. It's been like this for.. hmm... I think about a month or so. It's really bugging me, and I can't seem to do anything about it. I have an AVG Virus Scanner (Free edition), and then I also downloaded Ad Aware SE. I don't go to any bad sites, and I don't use programs like Kazaa. I've run both, and they didn't pick up much, only some minimal stuff, that, when deleted, didn't make a difference. So, I don't know, maybe I've got some sort of virus, and if I do, how do I find it and get rid of it? Or, it could be Shaw. Does anyone else have problems like this with Shaw?

Nope, maybe you should give them a call and ask them.

Did you recently install any new upgrades, like Win SP2 or a firwall? Also try typing "msconfig" in the run box and diabling all non-microsoft startup programs and services. Can't guarantee anything though.

Yeah, I just installed the Win SP2 this morning. It was kinda screwed up, if you ask me. Didn't work the way it usually does. However, my internet has been doing this for over 2 weeks, so I don't think it's that. It has been worse than usual today though...
