How awesome it would have been to see massive battles utilizing all known UNSC war machines on at least a viewscreen inside either Sword Base or the Sabre facility cycling through vids of various fronts.
So much potential when it comes to showing off UNSC power....shame it wasn't tapped in some way. The closest we've got was the radio transmission on Exodus mentioning a Hornet pilot going down and that's all we've got in terms of vehicle cameos for the UNSC. Hell it would've been at least something to hear soldiers on the radio mention the deployment of other vehicles like Grizzlies, Hawks, everything else. The mention of how other fronts are fairing through some indirect method like the radio in addition to the info we got on Beta Red's sector of operation would've also tapped into a bit more of that potential.
Problem, the only two-three (that we've seen) Grizzlies are all on the Spirit of Fire. That and the fact they were Forge's personal modification, I doubt we would see many, if any elsewhere...
Ah very true. With Forge dead and the Spirit still unaccounted for as far as we know by 2552, the deployment of grizzlies would more likely than not be non-existent within the rest of the UNSC.
The question would still stand for other UNSC vehicles though such as the Rhino, Wolverine, Hawk, or monstrosity that is the Vulture.
Though already I could imagine that the costs needed to construct such vehicles so late into the war could be unfeasible given the armaments and materials used that each vehicle posses...Spartan Lasers alone are considered to be very expensive weapons alone, and using funds to build a Hawk that requires one as a weapon would be rather impractical as planets and resources begin to dwindle...
Still it is Reach, and one would imagine that the planet that holds the "pinnacle" of UNSC military technology would at least posses some of these vehicles however few they may be in reserve for defense.
