lol, no not at all that was the problem it threw out auto assist like CE and H3 (I was saying CE and H3 have similar auto assist). H2 was the only halo with a good auto assist.
No shotgun was slow and very similar to CE.
Clone no. It had no auto assist or large hit boxes like H2, it's main thing the weapons worked almost exactly like CE not H2.
H2 was very very different than H3,
H3 and Ce were very similar.
I would agree that forge was bungies failed attempt at recreating what modders did successfully.
H3 and other halo's also didn't have modders like H2 nore the supposed glitches and out of the map features which were accidents done on purpose to me (as they were to well done to be true glitches).
Theater was a failed attempt at what montage makers were doing in Halo 2.

CE had Aim assist? Have you seen the Halo 1 and 2 comparison video? Ce had virtually no Aim Assist or an Auto Lock on tracker for the reticule. Shotgun more like CE? If anything it was more like 2's since it was weaker in 3 and also had slower (I guess this word means time before you can fire again) recoil. Ce's shotgun had a long and more effective range unlike 3's. I'm not quite sure about the Warthog though. I'd say really CE influenced Halo Reach the most.
Halo 3 was practically a clone of Halo 2 only that it had more features like Forge, theater, upgraded graphics, and more gametypes. And let's not forget the bullet spread
