I jumped into a custom one of my friends was in, and it was the map elephantitis. My 360 slowed down to a crawl, like less than 5 frames a second.

I quit out, but my 360 seems to run different now. The sound at the bungie logo screen cuts out like my other 3 boxes always used to do.

Does anyone know if maybe it transferred host to me as I joined and if it could've damaged anything like my router or hardware?

Extremely doubtful imo, maybe you have just ruined the xbox/disk normally - if it is horizontal lie it vertical, never lay it on carpet and check the disk for scratches.

Oh and also don't install H3 to hardrive - it makes it run slower.
