Without Chief? Yes.
Without Noble Team? No.

So Noble Team is going to blow up Unyielding Hierophant , kill Regret, destroy the Flood, etc.?

Let's hope Kat doesn't run into a needle rifle.

Yeah, we still believe in all the things that we stood by before.
I know, to everything we've seen here, maybe even more.
I know we're not the only ones and we were not the first.
And unapologetically we stand behind each word.

There are other Spartan-IIs, eh?

Agreed. All the changes are good and add variety. Do we really want another Halo 3? Just running around with one gun and no armor abilities? It's good that 343 wants to try something new. Do we really want the same thing for three more games?

You best be joking.

Both Master Chief and NOBLE were pretty essential to the UNSC's effort.

They might have one had NOBLE died a little faster, but without Chief the Flood would have raped the galaxy.

Depends. If the chief didn't exist, it is entirely plausible that another of the Spartan's would have taken his place.

My thought exactly. My guess would be Fred. Perhaps even Noble Six would have entered the PoA if Keyes had realized there would be no Spartan aboard the vessel with him sending marines/pelican(s) next to the mass driver for Noble Six.

The rookie would have destroyed the Covenant without muttering a single word.

I am Field Master Avu Med 'Telcam, Servant of the Abiding Truth, and I have many brothers.

A god who creates tools is still a god. It is not for us to impose qualifications upon the divine or presume to guess its intentions.

The only reason the Covenant didn't kill everything ever is because the sangheili decided to switch sides.

He was the most awesome Spartan. For most of the story he had the highest rank over all other Spartan IIs, and was the Spartan II leader. I am not sure one of the other Spartans could have suceeded. Actually, pretty much all the other still existing Spartans had failed a massive mission just before Halo 1 began, and the Spartan IIIs mostly just sucked. Noble Team were a rare case of awesome Spartan IIIs but even altogether they couldn't match the Cheif.

Pretty much. That and the flood coming to Earth.

At least Spartan IIIs didn't rely on superior technology to get the job done.

What can anyone do when they are glassed by several Covenant Cruisers? A few of the II's were injured as well prior to that by a high altitude fall.

How did the III's suck?

He must think that their lack of MJOLNIR made them sucky.

Maybe it's because almost all of the Companies were killed on their first missions against the Covenant.

False, Kurt is a higher rank and went down as a hero saving the remaining Spartan II's and creating the Spartan III's. Chief is a fighter, Kurt is a trainer, and fighter.
