Subject: Major Nelson seems to want Halo 2 on Games on Demand

Halo 2 for Life!

"Actually Major Nelson brought up that very point (at least about Halo 2) on one of his recent Podcasts and said that he would discuss it with the LIVE team to get it put up."

from here:

http://forums.gamesforwindows.com/p/12795/111549.aspx

does anyone listen to major Nelsons pods casts? If so can they verify this?

I don't know, but it dosen't really matter to me, at all.
The game still won't have online play, and it's not like it's hard to find a copy online, or used in stores.

343 studios, or someone else needs to create a remake with online mp and coop and Hi-ress textures, and achievments.
That would interesting!

It doesn't affect me at all since I have a disk, maybe it could bring more players to XBColumbia though.

That site fails, and it was a long time ago.

It was about Halo 2 Vista and Gears of War (PC), both of which are not even on the GFWL - Games on Demand.

Perhaps he wanted H2X fans to make a transition to H2V, but w/e.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

So... will they make Halo 2 live enabled again?

Good players work together...and no matter how good you are, you're not physic. - blade6321

I'd rather they didn't. While the campaign was amazing, Halo 2 was one of the first games where multiplayer was literally half (if not more) of the experience. I remember playing the campaign religiously before I got LIVE way back in the day but that simply isn't fun anymore. Unless they re-release it with a little more incentive (achievements or otherwise), I can't see myself buying a digital copy *Stares at his Halo 2 disc, 3 feet away*

This. If H2 was on demand it would have to include MP. Otherwise there would be no incentive for anyone to buy it. Alas, this will never happen.

Yes I would buy it...

The only thing I'd really want them to do is re-release the DLC that is not on the multiplayer map pack disk. Enabling live again is a bit of a stretch however, and I cannot say if it would be favored or folly.

I always say that I really desire playing Halo 2 XBL again, but for what? I would not be replaying those good moments that I remembered and desire to replay. It wouldn't be the same. Live was not only different, it was the entire online environment that differed.

If you didn't Play Halo: CE or Halo 2 MP, your opinion about Halo means nada.

CE + H2 >>>>>>>>>>>>>> H3+Reach+H4

there is 0 point unless they make it Live enabled

Ooh-rah!

Seriously, JacobJRocks, how long is it going to take for you to realize that you are wasting your time trolling a community that sees you only as an immature, close minded loser? You contribute nothing to any discussions other than to stress your own personal vendetta against Halo 2 and the members of this forum.

What the hell is your problem?

He has rights, he's voicing his opinion. Block him if you don't like it.

Right and wrong.

He does have rights to voice his opinion, but he does it by denying the opinions of others'. Look at the post at the top of this thread if you want undeniable proof.

In addition to that, it's just rude. It'd be fine if he said he disliked Halo 2 and then left, but instead he lingers here just to further draw attention to himself.

But I won't comment on that anymore. He can do whatever he wants--I just hope he reads it and understands he is wasting his own breath.

Meanwhile, lots of people see TottalyMassive and other kids here as people with Obsessive-Compulsive disorder. They acted like babies when their game was shutdown, and just won't move on. Besides, this post didn't take very long to type, so your overused "ur a no lief tr0llz" arguments just went out the window.

Also, just like your butt buddy, you blew my post out of context. I was replying to Shock120:

Juvenile post Shock, I thought you were above that. 5:30 in the morning and you come into a forum that you don't care about and try to pick a fight.

The treatment center is actually helpful, it could be his chance to get rid of this Halo 2 addiction/craving he has.

I'm sure he'd fit in well with the "Compulsive video gaming" program.
