I just play for fun. MLG can kiss my ass.

Someone tell me how the controller hooking up the computer works because I can't get it to work.

PC version of H:CE was much more superior to the console version. Of course Bungie's original intentions was to build Halo 1 as a PC and Mac game. This obviously changed after MS bought 'em out. I only wish the other Halo games came out on PC. Halo 2 Vista sucked.

Here's hoping the next IP is on the PC. Although it is (kind of) already confirmed.

Edit: One thing Bungie did really well was implementing the matchmaking system starting from Halo 2. Not always a big fan of dedicated servers. I like the idea of being paired up/paired against random people playing the same game; although it doesn't always work well.

Life's a game. How do you play?

Console, of course. Not only for putting the Xbox on everyone's radar, but also for serving as an example of a what a console FPS could do. Circle strafe just isn't the same on WASD with a mouse.

Just plug in a wired controller. Your PC should recognize it.
if not, there is a download somewhere on Microsoft.com

We will know soon enough, but it will require thought. Deep thought. Mendicant Bias must be found. The Mantle will soon follow.

That, or just go out and buy an Xbox Wireless Gaming Receiver and plug it into your PC. The Receiver uses the syncing system of the 360, and recognizes both Wireless Controllers, and Wireless Headsets. Multiple devices can indeed be used at once on the Receiver, too.

PC.
no having to bother with imitation engine, unlike the xbox the PC is not running on hardware from 2005. Imagine being able to mod maps...settings... everything..

it would be glorious beyond words.

Console because that's where it all started.
Technically it started on the Mac/PC, but, okay.

Wrong. Halo was first being planned as an RTS for Apple. It was then laster finished for the Xbox in November 15, 2001.
Then on Spetember 30, 2003 it was released for Mac/PC.
So yes, Halo started on the console.

No, I'm right. When it was an RTS it was going to be made for the Mac.

^ this.. Halo was gonna be something on the mac, then Bill Gates bought Bungie and they put it on the xbox, which later went to the PC/mac.
