Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.

What kind of sound are you looking for?

Anything as long as it's composed in the bathroom! Wwwooooooooaaaaa! :)

To the original poster, have you tried free music resources? There are a good number of them out there.

It isn't that hard to make your own. There are programs that you can make your own easily. If you have a Mac Garageband is already preloaded.

I should re-post this on OCR. Give everyone there a good laugh.

No, composing music is not as easy as just booting up Garageband and screwing around. If you pay no attention to dynamics, mixing, soundspace management, ect., then you end up with a track that sounds absolutely terrible.

This is the average H2 Fanboy.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

What grade are you in? 5th grade? Music isn't opening garageband and dragging random notes.

Something smells fishy...

Are you trying to make your own song? Or are you using an existing song?

I'm no expert but maybe you could find some people who play instruments and have them play into a computer. I believe there's software for Macs that allows you to record music into a Apple computer.

I'm sure such software is available for PC's also.

That's a massive oversimplification of the music production process.

Hawkeye, I could probably come up with some music for you, but I have a few questions for you.

1. What kind of videos are you making?

2. What's the scope of the project? How long are the videos, and how much music will you need?

3. What genre or general sound are you looking for?

4. Are you fine with mp3s, or would you prefer something lossless like FLAC or WAV?

5. Would you prefer to have the track on-hand and fit the video to it yourself, or would you rather get the video together and have me cue music timings for it? Most people that make short movies and such, like machinima, prefer the latter.

Sorry, I'm not very musically oriented. I was just trying to help the best I could:)

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

This is the kind of music I do. MIDI, input by hand into a crappy old win3.1 program called MusicTime. Not really suitable.

Thanks. It is pretty fun but MIDI is sorely dated now...

DusK, I'm not so sure you should commit yourself to this, unless he's contacted you some other way. Based on the one post he made, it sounds like it might just have been an idea he had with his friend for a little bit, and then lost sight of it. He didn't give any indication of whether this would be a series, or just a one off short film. Music composition isn't really worth it for a fluke like this sounds like.
