Thunder Ninja15 - I would do it for the lulz.

Personally, I will never get over the phenomenal advertising campaign's for all of Bungies Halo games.

My favorites, in order.

#1 Believe
#2 We are ODST
#3 Halo 2 teaser.

I would have to say custom games in Halo 3.
Before Reach was out, it was common for me and a party of 5 other people would all be playing a game together(halo, cod, anything) and decide to play Halo 3. We'd constantly find new, forged maps to play on, and it was always fun. Super Infection on Sandtrap are my best memories from that game.Grifball as well..
And it's not a custom game, but action sack was the greatest playlist.
That sort of stuff just doesn't happen in Reach.

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

Sitting around playing four way split screen Halo 2 multiplayer for hours on end.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

How belivable and realistic the Halo universe is. You can actually imagine things in 500 years from now being like that.

And the the amazing story. It´s just so addicting and well made.

A mixture of an amazing story and universe and having so much fun with my friends in multiplayer.

If you're passionate about the thing you're talking about, I'll always lend an ear.

Hahah.
I would say the release of Halo 2 and how it ultimately shaped Halo into something more than just campaign greatness but also multiplayer greatness.

Sure at 1st it did have a few hitches but it was Bungie's 1st multiplayer game on a console that had very little experience online. Up to Halo 3:ODST. It was a great run.

[Insert something funny]

Infection with super fast zombies on Sandtrap. We would have Warthogs with Gauss guns and blast them out of the air! I miss Sandtrap.

this and the Halo Bible and how apparently fleshed out and mysterious it is. Think: the entire story in one volume...

My least favorite thing is everything about Reach. Sad that Bungie left the way they dud... ):

Out of everything? Probably the ol' Halo 3 BTB matches, same for H2. Man, I had some great times no lie. Made some great friends as well. Let's not forget Team SWAT either. I was a boss at that, got my 50 with hard work. I floated in and out of the best teams and ended up landing my own. When my mates started not to get along, we split. Funny thing is we met the next match, well one of us at least.

Now this ex teammate was giving me the cold shoulder and not talking to me in the lobby so it was time for an ass whoopin. Ended up getting my 50 that game and beasted on him.

Oh and yeah, Roberto, you're right. Reach is probably the worst thing Bungie has ever done. I can't bring myself to play that game anymore. I know they put a lot of hard work into it but man, it just sucks. AA's? Pssshhh.

Exploring and getting out of maps in Halo 3. I spent a few days of play time finding how to get out of many maps in Halo 3.

Not to sound cliche, but everything. I love just about everything Bungie has given us over the years, but I think it stems from 3 main parts:

1)Story- alot of people seem to complain about the story in one way or another, but I love the unique sci-fi, military mysticism of it all. It's so real, yet so distant, like a dream.

2)Sandbox- If Bungie has done one thing right, it's the sandbox you play in. It's the same reason I can still watch the Warthog Jump video and still be amazed. The Physic and everything just flow together so well, that, at the end of the day, it's just fun to play.

Though I would've loved to make this the 3 S's of Halo, I didn't

3)Love- Bungie supports their games like any other game dev, right? Right. However, the amount of effort and content they shove into a game experience you've already paid for, is astounding. Also, the community rocks and also belongs in the love category. You guys rock, every last one of you. (I'm sure there are exceptions though :3 )

That's all I can think of right now, but I'm pretty sure these are the reasons I'll be getting the next Bungie game.

I'm an Anarchist. I don't need a government to be a good person, but I'm glad it's here because some of you clearly do.

#1 The original three Novels; The Fall of Reach, The Flood, and First Strike.
#2 The second mission from Halo:CE - Halo
#3 Halo 3 Forge

Halo 2's amazing multiplayer. Hasn't been matched.

-Beating every Halo game co-op with my little brother on Legendary (yes even Halo 2).

-The ad-campaigns. Especially Believe and We are ODST, watched those many times over. Moving stuff.

-The ending of Halo 3 and the Ending of Reach. Two very different moments, different feelings. But truly great moments.
