1. Leading is only one thing (unfortunately it's a big part for online) that separates the good players from the bad...in this game alone. Just fyi, leading your shots with a pistol (which makes no sense at all) and most other weapons for that matter, only exists by accident. It wasn't intended by the port, it's just that the game's multiplayer is below average. But anyways, aside from leading shots, there are many other things that help separate the good and the bad. Teamwork, weapon/map control, personal reaction time, and a good general sense of what to expect are just a few examples of what it takes to be on top. But the problem with Ce is that leading your shots is too big a facot, because even if you have dead on aim, you still have to guess where the guy moves n such. That being said, there is luck in duels between two online fighters....which helps to explain why online pistol fights tend to take so long when in reality it only takes 3 fricken head shots, lol.
Not only is your grammar worse then TottalyMassive's, but you make no sense. If you can't do something then lead your shots, then you fail.
2. Refusing to play H2V due to your claim that it "takes absolutely no skill to play" is just a way to avoid a challenge. You're saying this because you aren't as good in H2V as you are in CE. The reason for that is because CE's tactical approach (leading n' such) is almost 100% different from that of Halo 2's....or any game for that matter. I can also back this up with the fact that you aren't even a 40 in Halo 3, and i'd guess Halo 2 when that came out in 2004. This clearly shows how you've accustomed yourself to CE's "leading technique" and your insufficient skills with the controller. And from that evidence, it is safe to say that i'd own you in H2V. We have xfire now, the tables are turned. Accept my challenge or it's assumed that you suck at H2V. No excuse. Me beating you will show you that ALL other FPS games require skill. In fact I want to let you know that Halo 2 has been claimed by many people saying that there was a very apparent skill gap.
Hello, my name is Ben. Just like walshy and his toolbox friends, I only play console FPSes and Console FPSes on the PC.
No seriously, go to about 1:09. No skill needed for that h2v shot.
3. H2V provides skill-based multiplayer experience. Refer to the above statements. It's for the PC. What you're saying is stupid as hell. It may favor the controller because you can plug one in, but you don't need one either. It's 100% playable with m/kb- it was all set for the PC. Your claim is invalid. I can't really say anything about the map editors because I haven't had any experience with either game's editors.
It's like playing a console game in an emulator. It's just a cheap console port with bugs. Oh, and with KB/M, it stutters on high end PCs. As for map editors, try them yourself. You will see h2v's is crap and sabotaged.
ANYWAYS...I probably wasted my time trying to convince a Halo:CE multiplayer tryhard and traditionalist that your game doesn't hose the best online. It's like trying to convince the Koreans that a representative democracy is better than a military dictatorship. Too blind to accept the truth.
Btw this is in response to Dusk...and really all you H2V haters (but mostly aimed at dusk)
You seem to be the "tryhard" here who loves games with big hitboxes. You are about as bad as tottallymassive. His youtube is even crazier:
I'm currently boycotting everything bungie (including www.bungie.net, but not boycotting playing H2 or H1 or H2 forum on bungie.net) as they no longer represent a company I would like to associate with. I'm also boycotting all Madden games after 2004 (ever since they got exclusive rights to the NFL license).
He is so bad, he finds REASONS for h2 having hitboxes.
